Off-Season Basketball
Please let your coaches know if there are any days/times of the week that you cannot practice so we can set the off-season practice schedule. We will be as accommodating as we can be for fixed conflicts!
Honor and Awards Ceremony -- May 22nd
Join us as we celebrate our students’ hard work and achievements at the annual Honor and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, at 6:00 PM in the Legacy Academy auditorium. We will recognize academic excellence and outstanding character, and promote our kindergarteners as they prepare for first grade. Kindergarten students should arrive at 5:45 PM. All students are required to attend and wear their formal uniform. It will be a great night together celebrating our students!

Commencement -- Friday, May 23 7pm
Please join us on Friday May 23 for our 2025 Commencement.
The ceremony will begin at 7pm. The whole school community is encouraged to celebrate the journey of the graduating class at the culmination of their time at Legacy Academy. It is a big moment that we celebrate together! There will be a reception to follow in the auditorium to honor our seniors.

Athletics Banquet
We had such a great time at the Athletics Banquet on Thursday evening, celebrating our achievements this year and, more importantly, honoring the growth and development of our Warriors and Lady Warriors. Seeing them grow in character and values week on week throughout the year is far more valuable to us than any accolade, medal, or championship that they could ever win.
A special mention to our Heart of a Warrior winner, Mr. Kendel Webb. He is a fantastic servant of Warrior athletics all year, travelling to games and meets, cheering on all our athletes, and providing a safe, encouraging atmosphere for all our students!
We are so thankful for you, Mr. Webb!
Water Day
Water Day 2025 was a blast!
Summer Camp Schedule
See our Summer Camp schedule below.
The first one you can save the date for is Otter Basketball Camp, June 2-6. Additional details will come out this week!

2025-2026 School Calendar
Please find attached the Legacy Academy school calendar for the next school year.
Now HIRING Teachers!
We are now hiring additional teachers for Pre-K, Lower Level, and Upper Level Grades for the 2025-26 school year. Is it you? If not, help us find the best fit!
Please complete your 25-26 EFA Application
Remember that we will accept EFAs as 100% of your tuition obligation next year if you do not qualify for any other assistance. Actual tuition based on true operation costs would be $10,500 annually. However, LA will accept EFA as tuition paid in full. If you qualify for other assistance to cover the additional amount we will help you with those applications. This means we should be able to ensure that not a single LA family has any out-of-pocket tuition expenses! The number of EFAs is not unlimited and over 30,000 Arkansas students have already applied. DO NOT DELAY ANY LONGER. Please complete your application today. The office can help you if needed. If you end up not using it, that's no problem but don't miss the funds available for your student. Families who received EFA for the 2024-2025 school year must still reapply for next year. Families already receiving EFA will need your student(s) individual Student ID Number to complete the application. You can find this on your ClassWallet account.

Parenting Corner
In 2 Timothy 1:5, Paul writes to his son in the faith, Timothy, and gives us a small window into the importance that a grandparent can have in the lives of their children and grandchildren.
"...when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice..."
Grandparents play an important role in the lives of their grandchildren, though it is often indirect. Most of their significance to children is seen through the support and help they give to their parents. Grandparents are often seen as "stress buffers," family "watchdogs," "roots," "arbitrators," and "supporters."
Research suggests that children find unique acceptance in their relationships with grandparents, which benefits them emotionally and mentally. Grandparents can be a major support during family disruptions. Sometimes they're playmates for their grandchildren. They're very often role models and mentors for younger generations. They are also historians -- teaching values, instilling ethnic heritage and passing on family traditions.
Increasing numbers of grandparent’s care for their grandchildren during the day or have legal full custody of their grandchildren, making them surrogate parents. These grandparents have a particularly strong influence.
Wise parents foster strong relationships between grandparents and grandchildren. Letters, phone calls, videos, sharing of school work, and personal contact where possible all build bonds of love and friendship between the generations.
Grandparents need their children and grandchildren as well. It benefits each generation to be cradled in the arms of one another's love. Parents and grandchildren, take time to see the rich resource that lives in your grandparents. Amen.
