We can’t wait to honor our athletes’ hard work and dedication at this special event! Each athlete received complimentary tickets for their parents. Due to limited seating, no tickets will be sold at the door, and the deadline for purchasing extra tickets has passed. Thank you for being so understanding, and we look forward to seeing you there! Athletes may wear non-uniform clothes, but should dress nicely for the evening.

Honor and Awards Ceremony--May 22nd

Join us as we celebrate our students’ hard work and achievements at the annual Honor and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, at 6:00 PM in the Legacy Academy auditorium. We will recognize academic excellence and outstanding character, and promote our kindergarteners as they prepare for first grade. Kindergarten students should arrive at 5:45 PM. All students are required to attend and must wear their formal uniform. It will be a great night together celebrating our students!

Commencement -- Friday, May 23 7pm

Please join us on Friday May 23 for our 2025 Commencement.

The ceremony will begin at 7pm. The whole school community is encouraged to celebrate the journey of the graduating class at the culmination of their time at Legacy Academy. It is a big moment that we celebrate together! There will be a reception to follow in the auditorium to honor our seniors.

Off-Season Basketball

JB/SB Basketball Off-Season is this Tuesday/Friday 3-5pm this week.

JG/SG Basketball Off-Season is this Monday/Friday 3-5pm this week.

Track Season Complete!

Legacy Academy student-athletes delivered an inspiring performance at the HCAA State Track & Field Meet for Junior and Senior High teams held on Saturday, May 3, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Competing in events ranging from sprints to long-distance runs, relays, field events, and—new this year—hurdles, students from grades 6 through 12 represented the school with grit, determination, and sportsmanship, despite facing larger schools with deeper rosters. Legacy’s teams excelled across multiple events thanks, in part, to a new training routine this year.

The level of competition was fierce, representing schools from Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma, but Legacy athletes earned multiple top-10 finishes across both running and field events.

Girls

  • Hannah Grace Lofton placed 2nd in the Junior Girls 1600m

  • Izzy Ward placed 9th in Junior Girls Discus

  • Addyson Carrell finished 10th in the same event

  • The Junior Girls 4x100m relay team (Hannah Grace Lofton, Cora Bartek, Addyson Carrell, Izzy Ward) took an impressive 2nd place

  • Oaklee Lofton earned 2nd in the Senior Girls 1600m, 7th in 100m hurdles, and 4th in Shot Put

  • Myleigh Fry placed 8th in the Senior Girls 100m hurdles

  • Libbie Bartek earned 9th in Senior Girls Long Jump

  • The Senior Girls 4x100m relay team (Oaklee Lofton, Myleigh Fry, Libbie Bartek) finished 6th

Boys

  • Philip Kopyscinski took 8th in Junior Boys Discus

  • The Junior Boys 4x100m relay team (Roberto Reyna, Mateo Vazquez, Philip Kopyscinski, Wyatt Spoo) finished 4th

  • Jude Gallagher secured 7th in both the Senior Boys 1600m and Shot Put

  • James Bartek also earned 7th in Senior Boys Long Jump

  • The Senior Boys 4x100m relay team (James Bartek, Silas Lofton, Jude Gallagher, Manolo Vazquez) placed 8th

We’re incredibly proud of all our athletes from all four teams. They gave everything they had and competed with heart, discipline, and Warrior spirit. To see so many top 10 finishes in such a competitive environment is a testament to their hard work and our supportive school community.

Summer Schedule Coming Soon!

We are planning to have some summer camps again this year, as we did last summer. We hope to have the schedule for these out to you this week.

The first one you can save the date for is Otter Basketball Camp, June 2-6. Additional details will come out this week!

Now HIRING Teachers!

We are now hiring additional teachers for Pre-K, Lower Level, and Upper Level Grades for the 2025-26 school year. Is it you? If not, help us find the best fit!

Bus Drivers & Substitutes Needed

We need substitutes who can help fill positions when a teacher is absent. We also need bus drivers to help transport students to athletic events and field trips. Please see the office for details on each of these. Thank you!

Please complete your 25-26 EFA Application

Remember that we will accept EFAs as 100% of your tuition obligation next year if you do not qualify for any other assistance. Actual tuition based on true operation costs would be $10,500 annually. However, LA will accept EFA as tuition paid in full. If you qualify for other assistance to cover the additional amount we will help you with those applications. This means we should be able to ensure that not a single LA family has any out-of-pocket tuition expenses! The number of EFAs is not unlimited and over 30,000 Arkansas students have already applied. DO NOT DELAY ANY LONGER. Please complete your application today. The office can help you if needed. If you end up not using it, that's no problem but don't miss the funds available for your student. Families who received EFA for the 2024-2025 school year must still reapply for next year. Families already receiving EFA will need your student(s) individual Student ID Number to complete the application. You can find this on your ClassWallet account.
