Senior Girls HCAA State Champs!

The Legacy Academy Warriors Cross Country team traveled to Fort Smith on Friday, October 23, to compete in the HCAA State Championships at Trinity Catholic Schools.

Although our numbers were smaller this season, our athletes showed up ready to compete! The Senior Girls team brought home their second consecutive HCAA 2A State Championship! The championship team consisted of Libbie Bartek, Vivian Garner, Jocelyn Cisneros, Hannah Grace Lofton, and Cora Bartek.

The Warriors also celebrated several top-ten individual finishes across divisions, including Silas Lofton and Katherine Bartek.

Coach Webb shared how proud she is of the athletes' dedication throughout the season. Their consistency, effort, and willingness to keep going, even on the days they wanted to quit, have been just as important as their accomplishments on the course.

The lessons learned through hard work and perseverance will carry far beyond cross country. When life gets difficult, these athletes are learning to keep showing up, push through challenges, and finish what they started.

Thank you, Coach Webb, for the time, heart, and dedication you pour into our athletes. Your impact goes far beyond the game. Thank you for teaching these young men and women how to do hard things, push themselves beyond what they thought possible, and keep going when things get tough. The lessons you teach through athletics will stay with them long after their final race. We are grateful for the time and heart you invest in our Warriors!

Congratulations, Warriors! Back-to-back State Champions!

Buck Fever Showcase

Our Warriors competed at the Buck Fever Showcase on October 20, facing strong competition from larger schools. The team ran in the same order planned for the State meet, making this a great final tune-up before Friday’s race in Fort Smith. Congratulations to Silas Lofton, Jocelyn Cisneros, Vivian Garner, Cooper McCleskey, and our entire junior girls team (KK Bartek, Zury Real, and Willow Schroer) on their season PRs!

On Friday, our 7th–12th grade students traveled to Historic Washington State Park for a performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, presented by the Texas Shakespeare Festival!

Students enjoyed seeing Shakespeare’s work come to life on stage and had the opportunity to explore the historic park afterward. It was a wonderful day of theater, history, and learning outside the classroom!
