The registration link and payment link are now available below. Please complete both to get your student signed up for the season.
We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to help coach, assist, or support our Pee Wee teams this season. If you’re able to help, please contact the front office.

Ballin' in the Burg | October 15-17
It’s almost time for one of our favorite Legacy basketball traditions! Ballin’ in the Burg is back, bringing three action-packed days of basketball, competition, and school spirit to Legacy Academy.
Local teams will go head-to-head on the court, and we want the Legacy family there to cheer them on and help make this tournament unforgettable!
But we need YOU! We’re looking for volunteers to help work the concession stands and gate throughout the tournament. Whether you can give an hour or a whole shift, every helping hand makes a difference.
Want to jump in and help? Reach out to the office or your House Leader to volunteer!
Come cheer, serve, and show your Legacy spirit!
Free Flu Shots | October 20
The Sevier County Health Unit will be on campus on Tuesday, October 20, to provide free flu shots for students.
Flu shot consent forms were sent home with students this week. If you would like your student to receive a flu shot, you must complete, sign, and return the consent form by October 13. Only students with a completed and signed consent form will receive a flu shot.
If you do not want your child to receive a flu shot, no further action is required.
Please return completed forms to the school by Tuesday, October 13. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Nurse Kesterson in the front office.
Cross Country State Meet | October 23
Our cross country team will compete at the state meet in Fort Smith on Friday, October 23! We’ll leave school early on Thursday, October 22, and all athletes are expected to travel with the team. The cost is $45 per person, which includes dinner Thursday evening and breakfast Friday morning.
Extra rooms or beds may be available for parents on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents interested in staying with the team should contact Coach Webb as soon as possible.

54th Annual King Arts & Crafts | November 14
Join Us for the 54th Annual King Arts and Crafts Festival!
We are thrilled to invite all of our families to attend the upcoming 54th Annual King Arts and Crafts Festival! This wonderful community event features a quality art show, craft contests, outside vendors, delicious food, and live music. Mark your calendars and come out to support the arts:
• Friday, November 13th & Saturday, November 14th: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday, November 15th: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Historic King School House (102 King School Road, Gillham, AR)
Student Artwork Display
Our school will be collecting and displaying beautiful student artwork at the festival! To ensure our school is well represented, teachers are coordinating with Pre-K through 6th-grade classes to guarantee that every single student has at least one entry ready for the show. Entry is entirely free for these younger grade divisions, and all participating Clothesline Art students receive a ribbon!
Calling All Older Students (Grades 7–12)Parents, please encourage your older students to submit their original 2D or 3D artwork to be displayed! This is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their talents and potentially win cash prizes (1st Place: $25, 2nd Place: $20, 3rd Place: $15).
• Important Note: There is a $1 entry fee per artwork for youth in grades 7–12 and a limit of two entries per artist.
• Guidelines: Paper pieces must be matted, and all works must be wired, framed, or securely strung for display.
Get Involved
Are you an artist? Submit your own art pieces! For more information, to ask questions about formatting, or to submit artwork, please contact us and ask for Ms. Shelton. We can't wait to see our students' (and families') creativity shine at the Historic King School House!

Warrior Day Recap | Navy vs. White
Warrior Day brought plenty of school spirit, friendly competition, and Legacy tradition! Students and staff were divided into two teams—Navy and White—and spent the day battling it out through games of skill, speed, agility, a dance-off, and our annual teacher door-decorating competition. When the final score was tallied, the White Team dominated with an 11–5 victory! 🤍 Congratulations, White Team!
The creativity continued with our teacher door-decorating competition, where Mrs. Garner secured 1st place with her winning design!
Warrior Day is always a fun-filled Legacy tradition and the perfect way to celebrate our school spirit while kicking off another exciting Legacy basketball season. What a way to start the year—LET'S GO WARRIORS!
