Warrior Dash 2026 — September 12 at Legacy Academy
Join us for Warrior Dash 2026 on September 12 at Legacy Academy! The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with carb loading, spaghetti dinner cooked by our very own, Ms. Gilmore, available for $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.
At 5:15 PM, our Legacy XC athletes will compete in the NCSAA Run, where they will be timed and nationally ranked. At 6:00 PM, everyone is invited to join our Warrior Dash Color Run. Participants will have multiple opportunities to earn House Points, including Trail Sweeper, Most School Spirited, Most Dramatic Finish, First to Finish (“I Came, I Saw, I Conquered”), Most House Participants, and Most Family Members Participating.
Warrior Dash is a fundraiser for our XC team, so invite your friends and family to come enjoy the evening, participate in the run, and help us support our Warriors! We will also have new XC shirts to preorder!
XC Teams should be at the school by 3 pm on 9/12 to flag the course and set up for the Warrior Dash.
Legacy 4-H | September 16
Legacy 4-H will meet on the third Wednesday of each month throughout the school year, with adjustments made as needed for holidays or scheduling conflicts.
The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00–4:15 p.m. in the cafeteria.
We look forward to getting started! See you there!
Scholar Induction | September 17
Join us on Thursday, September 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the Legacy Auditorium for one of our most treasured traditions, our Scholar Induction Ceremony.
During this special evening, new students will be welcomed into the Legacy journey, and students entering new levels will be inducted as Rookies, Protégés, Apprentices, and Scholars. Each step recognizes their continued growth in character, maturity, responsibility, and leadership. The evening culminates with our new Scholars accepting the call to lead by example and receiving their navy blazers and Scholar patches from their families.
This is a formal school event. All students are required to attend and must wear their formal uniform. For formal uniform guidelines, please reference the Student Handbook.
Family Picnic Night | September 24
Join us for a relaxed evening together at Family Picnic Night on Thursday, September 24!
There’s no agenda and no program—just a chance to slow down, enjoy one another’s company, and spend time together as a school community. Bring a simple picnic dinner for your family, a blanket or lawn chairs, and any yard games you’d like to share.
Come visit, play, laugh, and enjoy an easy evening with other Legacy families. Sometimes the best community is built simply by being together, and we hope you’ll join us!
First Meet of the Season Is in the Books!
Our Warriors showed out at the Tom Stuthard Stampede in Acorn, Arkansas! With temperatures reaching 101° and a heat index of 106°, our runners faced some seriously tough conditions but competed hard and finished strong.
Congratulations to Silas Lofton, Hannah Grace Lofton, Izzy Ward, and Katherine Bartek, who all brought home medals! Zury Real also stood out as a leader, encouraging and supporting her teammates throughout the meet. Our Senior Girls finished 4th overall!
We are incredibly proud of the work these athletes have already put into this season. This first meet wasn't just about times or medals—it was about grit, teamwork, and doing hard things when the conditions weren't easy.
Great first meet, Warriors! We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!
