Pee Wee Basketball
It’s time to get ready for another great season of Pee Wee Basketball, and registration is officially open!
As always, we are a small school, and we need as many kids as possible to participate so we can build teams and have a successful season. Please talk with your students and encourage them to get involved and play!
The registration link and payment link are now available below. Please complete both to get your student signed up for the season.
We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to help coach, assist, or support our Pee Wee teams this season. If you’re able to help, please contact the front office.
We’re looking forward to another fun season of working hard, playing hard, and cheering on our Warriors!

Upcoming Testing at Legacy Academy
Legacy Academy students will participate in several important assessments over the coming weeks, including the Classic Learning Test (CLT) and the ACT.
The CLT is designed to measure reading, grammar, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and logical reasoning while incorporating classic and historical texts. Different versions of the assessment are used by grade level:
CLT3-8 | Grades 3–8: Helps measure academic growth and student progress.
CLT10 | Grades 9–10: A college preparatory assessment comparable to the PSAT.
CLT | Grades 11–12: A college entrance exam comparable to the SAT and ACT and accepted by hundreds of colleges and universities.

Please help students prepare by making sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive at school on time, and avoid scheduling appointments on testing days. High school students taking the ACT should also remember to bring their graphing calculators.
Attendance on testing days is especially important. We look forward to seeing our students put their hard work, knowledge, and critical-thinking skills into practice!
Warrior Day | October 2
Warrior Day is almost here! Get ready for one of the most fun, high-energy days of the year as Navy and White go head-to-head in a full day of games, challenges, competitions, and serious Warrior spirit!
Students will receive their Warrior Day shirts on Thursday and should wear them to school on Friday. Shirts may not be altered by cutting off sleeves, shortening them, or making other modifications. Students are encouraged to go all out for their team with face paint, temporary hair color, and plenty of Navy or White spirit!
Warrior Day takes a lot of hands to make happen, and we would love for our parents to jump in and be part of the fun! We need parent volunteers to help with games, activities, competitions, and all the action throughout the day. Whether you can help for part of the day or stick around for more, we’d love to have you on the team. Call the front office to volunteer!
Come ready to compete, cheer loud, and show your Warrior pride. Work hard. Play hard. Navy vs. White. Who will take the win this year?

Free Flu Shots | October 20
The Sevier County Health Unit will be on campus on Tuesday, October 20, to provide free flu shots for students.
Flu shot consent forms were sent home with students this week. If you would like your student to receive a flu shot, you must complete, sign, and return the consent form by October 13. Only students with a completed and signed consent form will receive a flu shot.
If you do not want your child to receive a flu shot, no further action is required.
Please return completed forms to the school by Tuesday, October 13. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Nurse Kesterson in the front office.
XC Meet at Caddo Hills!
Our cross country athletes ran well at Caddo Hills High School this past Tuesday, bringing home three medals! Congratulations to Hanna Grace Lofton, Cora, and KK Bartek. The Warriors’ next meet is October 12 in Wright City, Oklahoma.
Family Picnic Night
What a beautiful evening for Family Picnic Night! We loved spending time together with no agenda, just families sharing meals, visiting, playing games, and enjoying one another’s company.
And we couldn’t have asked for better weather! It was the perfect evening to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together as a Legacy community.
Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. Nights like these are such a sweet reminder that some of the best moments are the simple ones. We’re so grateful for our Legacy families!

Please note a change in the NHS Induction Ceremony. While the calendar is considered final for planning purposes, please note that minor adjustments may occasionally be necessary throughout the year. Any changes will be communicated through the weekly newsletter and reflected on the school Google Calendar.
We encourage families to save a copy of the calendar and refer to the Google Calendar regularly for the most up-to-date information.
