It's Homecoming--Legacy Style!
Legacy Academy will hold our first Homecoming this week. Lots of thought and planning have went into making the event special. See details below:
Fan Gear Sale:
All fan gear in the Warrior Shop will be 21% off at Homecoming Friday night and online ALL week long. If you check out online just use the COUPON CODE: Homecoming21 for a 21% discount. Perfect time to buy some fan gear for Christmas!
Thursday:
Homecoming Bonfire--530pm
We will have a bonfire on Thursday evening at 5:30pm as a Homecoming Pep Rally. We will serve chips and hot dogs. The school will provide the hot dogs and bottled waters and ask that families bring a family size bag of chips. All Legacy Academy students and families are invited to attend the bonfire. Lower Level students MUST be accompanied by a parent. Be sure to bring lawn chairs!
Homecoming Dress Rehearsal 7pm
There will be a dress rehearsal for all girls in homecoming immediately following the bonfire around 7pm.
Friday:
Friday's festivities are as follows:
12:30pm Girls/Moms' Homecoming Tea & Prep-Event. All girls in homecoming and their moms will have a special private afternoon together to have tea, prepare hair, make-up, and get dressed for the evening. The time has several special moments designed for the moms/daughters together.
5pm Homecoming. The Homecoming Ceremony will begin at 5pm in the gym. If you are escorting a student in homecoming, please be at the auditorium by 4:30pm for instructions and line up.
Volunteers:
There will be a lot of decorating and set up work that will be taking place for Homecoming. Email Hannah Gallagher (hannah.gallagher@legacymail.org) if you're able to help with that.
Mark Schroer is building the bonfire for Thursday evening. Contact him if you can help with that.
If you can help get hot dogs, etc. ready for Thursday evening that will happen right after school Thursday. We will also need to set up some tables for serving down by the bonfire.
Pee Wee Basketball:
First game is next Monday, 12/13/21 at 4:30 for 5/6 teams only.
All 3/4 and 5/6 teams will play on 12/18.

Christmas Is Coming:
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Thursday, December 16th, 6:30pm---Join us for a Christmas program on December 16 at 6:30 in the auditorium. The evening will be filled with singing, instrumental performances, and readings of Christmas passages. All students are to attend, even if not in the program, and are to wear their formal uniforms on this special night.
Friday, December 17, 1pm-- we will host our annual Christmas service project at 1:00pm, followed by early dismissal. We will be making Christmas cards for senior citizens this year. Parents, we need your help! We need craft supplies for making cards- cardstock, stickers, ribbon, etc. Please help us by sending supplies to school with your child. Parents are welcome to join the Christmas fun!
We are Hiring--Pre-K:
We are so fortunate that Mrs. Marshall has been covered Pre-K for us this semester. She's done an amazing job. Unfortunately, finalizing her elementary education degree in the Spring will not allow her to teach next semester. Please help us spread the word.
