Thanksgiving: School is out all week for Thanksgiving Break. We hope that each student and family we serve enjoys a tremendous time together. Importantly, we pray that the week is an opportunity to reflect upon God's love and kindness toward us.
Pee Wee Basketball: Practices will begin for Pee Wee Basketball and the schedule will be as follows:
--Both girls teams 3/4 and 5/6 will practice on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm-7pm & Sundays at 2pm-330pm.
--Both Boys teams, 3/4 and 5/6, will practice on Thursdays 4:15-5:30 and Sundays 4-530pm.
--First boys practice is Sunday 12/1 at 4pm.
--First girls practice is Thursday 12/5 at 5:30pm.
--Please remember that Pee Wee players need a separate pair of tennis shoes that are not worn anywhere else except on the gym floor. It is best to leave this pair of shoes for basketball at the gym in a cubical that will be set up for each student.
--We will set up a Remind texting group for each team prior to the first practice.
--High school students who sign up to assist with Pee Wee basketball will receive service hours for doing so. Please see Mrs. McCleskey or Mr. Gallagher.
Upper Level Students--Past Due Work: Parents, please consult with your Upper Level student. We are now more than half way through the second quarter. Some of the upper level students have past due assignments that teachers are permitting them to complete over the break. Please consult with your student and email the appropriate teacher to ensure your student completes anything outstanding. Any book needed from the school may be picked up on Tuesday all day or Wednesday before noon.
Basketball: Watch remind for a couple of Open Gym times this week. Since we have a basketball game at home next Monday evening, the boys will have basketball practice on Sunday at 2pm.
Old Campus: Now that we are settled into the new campus at Lockesburg, it is important that we get the old campus cleaned up and ready to go on the market. Can you volunteer to help clean it up? We aim to scrub up every room--walls, floors, etc. to make it presentable to show to prospective buyers. If you can give even a few hours, it would help get the job done. Send a message through Remind if you can help this week any!
New Campus Needs: We have a few needs for volunteers in Lockesburg. If you can help wash the mildew off the front of the gym, help move and set up our mailbox to a new location, or give any time to help with a few similar chores, please let us know!
