Working Together

Hello Parents, Day 1 of virtual school from home is behind us. We know that this crisis has created inconveniences, unknowns, and challenges for all of you. We want to promise you that in the midst of all of this our commitment to serving you is stronger than ever. We desperately miss our students and cannot wait to have them here on campus again. In the meantime, we will strive everyday to continually improve our remote learning services. We know that there are kinks to work out and improvements to make. We know there are going to be technology challenges. We know that everything won't go smoothly. We simply ask that you let us know about any and all concerns you may have and we will do everything we can to help. Only a strong partnership between the school, parents, and students will get us through this!

A few quick notes:

--Please pick up books and packets from school if you have not yet done so.

--Please let us know if you need technical help with virtual access.

--Please let us know if you are having difficulty accessing the internet.

--Please help us ensure your Upper Level students are in their online classes daily.

--Please log in and check Google Classroom daily (Upper Level students should do this themselves and parents should for Grammar Level students!)

Tomorrow we will begin setting up Empowerment Lab services for special assistance and tutoring for students one on one and in small groups. This may be in person or virtually. We will be in touch with you about options if your student is already set up for the Empowerment Lab. If your student is needing additional help in class, contact the classroom teacher. The teacher may also check on Empowerment Lab services for you if he/she believes that to be a necessary step.

As an aside--we have oranges, grapes, and milk that we don't want to spoil! Please stop by the school and pick some up if your family could use them.

Finally, please know that we are praying for all of you and your children. Psalm 145:8, “The Lord is near to all those who call upon Him.” We know that in the midst of all this, the Lord is near. Let's take refuge and rest in His nearness and trust that He will care for our families step by step and day by day.
