Founder's Note:
2026 is here! I remember when a date like that felt like science fiction! As the new year begins, it is a great time for families to think together about how they want the year to go. What habits do you want to change or establish? How could members support each other better? It's a great time to look for ways to have more family discussions, worship together, pray together, and maybe even read some books together. A worthy goal for all of us is less screen time and more real life--activities, conversations, reading books. Studies are overwhelming that we need real experience and not just a life of watching the experiences of others or simulating experiences through gaming. As we enter 2026 and the second half of this school year, we are praying for each of you. We love our families and hope that 2026 is a year of increase in your lives--one in which your entire family draws closer to the Lord than ever before!

Homecoming Bonfire & 2nd Annual Father/Son Chili Cook-Off!
On January 15th at 6pm, we’ll kick off the evening with our Homecoming Bonfire and enjoy a meal provided by the Second Annual Father/Son Chili Cook-Off. This competition is a great way for our boys to connect with a father figure (uncle, grandpa, mentor, etc.), share some friendly competition, and enjoy delicious chili! The more teams that enter, the more fun it is. Enter today at the link below and let's get to cooking.
For the bonfire, we are looking for good material to burn, like pallets or old Christmas trees! If you have something to contibute please reach out to Mr. Ward (jeremiah.ward@legacymail.org). You can bring old Christmas trees or pallets directly to the school and dump them at the bonfire site!

A Look Back at the Week Before Christmas Break
Annual Legacy Christmas Program
Our annual Christmas program was a wonderful celebration of the season, and we could not be prouder of our students. Each child worked hard to prepare, and it truly showed—from the songs and speaking parts to the joyful confidence they displayed on stage. They reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas and used their gifts to glorify God.
We are incredibly grateful for our teachers and staff who guided the students with patience and care, and for our families who supported them every step of the way. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and friends who joined us—your presence and encouragement mean so much to our school community.
Legacy Christmas Celebration
As we prepared to head into Christmas break, our school enjoyed a joyful Christmas celebration filled with fun, fellowship, and plenty of holiday cheer. Students and staff spent time playing games, sharing laughs, and enjoying delicious cookies and warm hot chocolate together. It was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with one another, and celebrate the season as a school family.
Moments like these remind us how special our community is and how important Christian fellowship is in creating a loving and welcoming environment for our students. We are especially thankful for everyone who donated cookies—your generosity helped make the day extra sweet and memorable for the children.
Thank you to all who helped make this celebration possible. We wish our families a blessed Christmas and a restful, joyful break as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. 🎄
Mrs. Bean's Toddler Class Making Sensory Toys
Sensory bottles offer toddlers calming focus, mess-free exploration, and developmental boosts by engaging sight, sound, and touch, helping with self-regulation, fine motor skills (shaking, grasping), language (describing colors/textures), early math (counting, matching), and scientific concepts (sink/float), all while sparking curiosity and providing a portable, quiet activity for moments of overstimulation or boredom.
Caught in the Act... Of Kindness!
Kindness is contagious—and we’ve got the proof! Check out who’s been ‘caught in the act of kindness’ this week, spreading good vibes all around our school!

Legacy Little's at Bright Beginnings
Our Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings are a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the bright future He has planned for our school community. Each child reflects the wonder of His creation and the promise of what is yet to come. We are grateful to walk alongside them as they begin their journey of learning, growing, and living out God’s purpose.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
