EFA Renewals and Applications

The Education Freedom Account (EFA) application and renewal process for the 2026–2027 school year will open on March 9 and will remain open through June 1, 2026. This process applies to ALL families—both current students who are already receiving EFA funding and any new students who plan to apply.

Renewals

All students currently receiving EFA funds must complete a renewal application in order for funding to continue next year. Renewals will be completed through ClassWallet and will include confirming your contact information and completing a brief satisfaction survey.

New EFA Applicants

Families of students who are new to EFA will apply through FACTS, following a process similar to last year with the same documentation requirements.

We strongly encourage all families to complete their application or renewal as early as possible once the application opens to help ensure there are no delays in tuition funding for next year. Additional details and step-by-step instructions will be shared soon.

If you have any questions, please contact the Legacy Office.

EFA Payment Requests

Payment requests for the 3rd Quarter EFA funds have been sent. Parents may log in to ClassWallet to review and approve these payments. Please note that you will no longer receive a separate invoice from the Legacy Academy office—all billing information is included in the payment requests. If you have any questions or need assistance, please get in touch with the school office.

ACE Scholarships Now Open

ACE Scholarships are now open for eligible families. Scholarships are awarded based on household income. Families currently receiving an ACE Scholarship must reapply each year to continue receiving funding.

How to Apply or Renew:

  • Confirm your family meets ACE income eligibility guidelines

  • Identify an ACE partner private school

  • Complete the school’s application and enrollment process

  • Complete the ACE Scholarships applicationand upload required documents (prior-year 1040 tax return, child support, SNAP, etc.)

Applications may be started, saved, and completed later, but must be fully submitted by April 15 to be considered. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the school office.

Re-Enrollment for 2026–2027 is now open!

We are already prayerfully planning for the 2026–2027 school year and would love to know your family’s intentions. If you anticipate your student returning to Legacy Academy, please take a moment to complete the Re-Enrollment Application by March 6th. Your response helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and resources. We are grateful for your continued partnership!

Make it a WIN-WIN: If a new family enrolls new students and lists you as the referral reason they are applying, then you will receive a $250 credit in the Warrior Shop for the next school year!

2/24 Carnival of Culture

We are excited to announce that our Carnival of Culture will take place on February 24th from 2:00–3:00 PM! Our aim is to deepen students’ understanding, foster compassion, and broaden their knowledge of both God and the world He has made. Each class will participate in unique ways, exploring a different culture or time period through hands-on activities, history connections, and literature-based learning.

Families are invited to attend! We will begin in the cafeteria at 2:00 PM with a short introduction and directions before students guide you through their cultural stations.

Teachers will send specific instructions or requests related to your student(s) through Remind, so please keep an eye on your messages for class-level details.

Thank you for your support—we look forward to celebrating this enriching school-wide experience together!

Highlights of the Past Week

🐾🚌 3rd & 4th Grade Field Trip Adventure! 🏛️

Our 3rd and 4th graders had an incredible day exploring and learning in Little Rock!

We started our trip at the beautiful Arkansas State Capitol. Students toured the historic building, learned about Arkansas history, and discovered how our state government works. Walking through the Capitol and seeing where important decisions are made brought our social studies lessons to life!

Afterward, we headed to the Little Rock Zoo for a fun and educational afternoon. Students enjoyed seeing a variety of amazing animals and learning about their habitats and unique characteristics. It was a wonderful way to connect our classroom science lessons to the real world!

The day was filled with curiosity, learning, and lots of smiles. We are so proud of our students for their excellent behavior and for representing our school so well!

What a fantastic adventure for our 3rd & 4th graders! 🐾✨

🎉👵👴 K–2 Celebrates 100 Days of School! 👴👵🎉

Our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school! To mark this exciting milestone, students dressed up like they were 100 years old — and they did not disappoint! We saw gray hair, glasses, suspenders, pearls, canes, and lots of big smiles walking through the halls.

Throughout the day, students participated in fun “100 Day” activities — counting to 100, building with 100 items, writing about what they’ll be like at 100 years old, and celebrating how much they’ve learned in 100 days.

We are so proud of our K–2 students for all their hard work this year. 100 days smarter and still growing! 💯✨

Weekly Assembly

Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.

We are Hiring!

For NEXT YEAR: We are looking to add teachers in the Upper Level and Lower Level. We are also hiring an additional para-professional to tutor in the Empowerment Lab.
