We need everyone we can get to form teams for competition this year! If your student is in 6th grade or above, please encourage them to join us for practice.
Parent Orientation | August 20
All parents are required to attend Parent Orientation on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. This meeting is for parents only—students will have their opportunity to visit campus during Open House on August 25.
We will cover important information for the upcoming school year, including changes to our dress code policy and updates to the Student Handbook.
We are looking forward to gathering with our parents as we prepare our hearts and minds for the year ahead. Please make plans to join us for this important time of information, preparation, and shared vision!

Open House | August 25
Students and parents are invited to Open House on Tuesday, August 25, at 6:00 p.m.! Come meet your teachers, visit classrooms, drop off school supplies, and get ready for the new school year.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Warrior families back to campus and beginning another wonderful year together!
We Don’t Do the First Day of School Like Everyone Else—We LAUNCH!
Our first two days of school are dedicated to LAUNCH—a time for our entire school to come together and set the culture, tone, and spiritual emphasis for the year ahead. Students will participate in schoolwide sessions and worship, play games, compete with their Warrior Houses, and welcome new students into their Houses!
LAUNCH is more than the start of school—it’s how we begin the year united as one Warrior family, building and strengthening relationships as we prepare for all God has in store!

Warriors Put in the Work at Otter Camp
Our Warrior basketball players worked hard, sharpened their skills, and had plenty of fun along the way! We are grateful to Jason Otter and everyone who helped make this valuable experience possible. We’re proud of our players for putting in the work and excited for the season ahead!
Our Teachers Are Back!
Our teachers are back on campus this week preparing for the year ahead! They have been praying over the school year, rehearsing the journey, learning the Legacy Way, preparing their classrooms, and worshiping together. Most importantly, they are taking time to tune their hearts to the Lord’s heart and mind for our school, our students, and the year ahead.
We are so grateful for a team of people who are committed to a genuine relationship with the Lord and willing to faithfully love and serve our students and families!
Thank You, Southern Bancorp!
A special thank-you to the ladies from Southern Bancorp in Lockesburg for treating our teachers and staff to breakfast! They have always been so kind and supportive of Legacy Academy, and we are incredibly grateful for the many ways they continue to encourage and care for our school community.
Student Volunteers Needed! Service Hours Available!
We need student volunteers to help us clean, organize, and prepare the campus for the new school year! There is still a lot to accomplish before students return, and your help would make a tremendous difference.
This is a great opportunity for students to get some required service hours while helping Legacy get ready for another successful school year.
If you are available to help, please contact the school office or email cynthia.kesterson@legacymail.org as soon as possible.
ClassWallet Reminder
Families who are new to Legacy Academy, have a new student enrolling, or have recently been awarded EFA or PIAK funds must have Legacy Academy listed as a Linked Vendor in ClassWallet before funds can be used to make payments to the school.
Please make sure Legacy Academy is listed as a Linked Vendor before submitting a payment through ClassWallet. If you need assistance, please contact the school office.
