LA News -- Week of July 1st


Happy 4th of July everyone! It is a great time to thank God for the blessings we have in our nation and to pray for Christians across the land working to raise godly families and live godly lives. Let us also pray for our leaders, and for the lost of our nation in hopes that they come into a relationship with God through Christ!


Please COME MOW! We need some mowing done this week. Please come help weedeat and mow!


Basketball Practice this week:

Tuesday 2-5pm ALL Teams (JB, JG, SB, SG)

Wednesday 2-5pm ALL Teams (JB, JG, SB, SG)

All Senior team players are to arrange at least two other work outs and shooting times in addition to team practice this week. (Junior players could, too!)


Coming Up

  • July 8-12, Theater Camp

  • July 16-19 Basketball camp (2nd grade and up) 8am-1pm

  • July 23-25 Art Camp (1st grade and up) 9am-2pm


Summer Camps

Our Summer Camps are underway! We have organized an array of different activities for students to attend this summer! All registration fees can be paid online or in the front office before the event date. 


Theater Camp

All Theater Camp students should already have signed up so that they can receive scripts to prepare for auditions. These will take place on the first day of camp.


Art Camp

Art camp will be taking place Tuesday to Thursday on July 23-25.

It is open for all students entering 1st grade and up and will take place from 9am to 2pm each day with lunch included.

The cost for the camp is $25.

Yearbooks for Sale

Yearbooks for both 2022-23 and 2023-24 are now on sale on the LA online store! They are $20 each and will be available for pick-up later in the summer.




Campus Help Needed

Summertime weather is here, and it is time for mowing and weed-eating again. Please contact the office and help us this week! We also have a list of maintenance needs on-campus that range from changing lightbulbs and hanging up signs to welding. If you are able to help with any of these campus projects, please call the office. 


Also, we hope to hire a part-time or full-time maintenance person for campus. Help us find the perfect candidate!


Time to Re-Enroll

If you have not yet done so, please complete your application for re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. Current families have priority consideration in enrollment. Please submit your re-enrollment form if you have not yet done so.



Scholarship Information

EFA Renewals and New Applications

EFA Applications are currently CLOSED.

Applications for new and existing students will reopen before the new school year. If you think you are eligible and have not yet applied, please contact Mrs. Kesterson at the school office (cynthia.kesterson@legacymail.org).



Philanthropic Scholarships

PIAK is now open, families can apply with this link. This scholarship applies to any students transferring from a public school to a private school for the first time or entering into Kindergarten for the first time (must turn 5 before August 1st) AND whose family’s income is no more than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.


We are Enrolling New Students


We are Hiring!

Don't forget we need substitutes. Please contact the office if you might be able to sub -- office@legacymail.org.


We are beginning our hiring efforts for next school year, as well. Help us find the perfect teacher match and fill positions!


We are currently needing to hire an additional lower-level teacher, two additional daycare workers, and a maintenance person for the campus!
