Senior Night
The Warriors basketball program honored seniors Oaklee Lofton and Ozzy Toledano in a special Senior Night celebration, recognizing their dedication, leadership, and impact on and off the court.
Oaklee, a four-year starter and leader, leaves behind an impressive career with 2,450 points, 972 rebounds, 369 steals, 252 assists, and 42 blocks. She has been instrumental in guiding younger players and is described by teammates as "Caring," "Unshakable," and a true "Leader."
Ozzy, a two-year captain, energized and inspired his team. He holds a school record of 42 charges taken and has contributed 432 points, 256 rebounds, 67 steals, and 86 assists. Known as “Hype” and a “Determined” leader, he pushed his teammates to give their best effort every game and practice.
The Warriors program values character, faith, and perseverance above all, and these seniors have set a lasting example for future athletes. Their leadership has encouraged younger players, from junior teams to Pee Wee squads, to embrace the true Heart of a Warrior.
Congratulations to Oaklee and Ozzy, Class of 2025!
Pee Wee Party Recap
What great time we had at the Pee Wee Party this past Saturday! After a season of working hard it was time for our Little Warriors to play hard. The kids (and parents!) had a blast playing games, eating together, and showing off their skills.
We had a great season this year with each player demonstrating tremendous growth and development both individually and as a team. It’s been amazing to watch them work hard and improve!
A huge thank you to everyone who made this Pee Wee season a success—especially Coach Webb and Coach K. Their dedication, effort, and investment in our players have truly made a difference.
We’re already looking forward to next season!
Mrs. Webb's Geography Class Field Trip (4th and 5th)

We look forward to a wonderful day filled with immersive learning experiences!
Please watch for permission slips being sent home.

Parenting Corner
From Mr. Nix
Let's continue to explore ways that you as parents can build deeper, more meaningful and effective communication with your teen. What we want to do is develop a communication skill set that will help us lead, guide, and counsel our teens as they navigate through all of life's ups and downs. Here are a couple more ideas for your consideration.
Validate their feelings. It is often our tendency to try to solve problems for our kids, or downplay their disappointments. But saying something like “You will get over it” after a disappointment can feel dismissive. Instead, show kids that you understand and empathize by reflecting their sentiments back: “Wow, that does sound difficult" or "I know that must've really been hard for you."
Show trust. Teens want to be taken seriously, especially by their parents. Look for ways to show that you trust your teen. Asking them for a favor shows that you rely on them. Volunteering a privilege shows that you think they can handle it. Letting your teen know you have faith in them will boost their confidence and make them more likely to rise to the occasion.
Awareness is a skill that we all need to develop in relationships. Learning to listen is more than hearing words spoken but it is being aware of the dynamics of what is happening in the life of your teen. In many ways what you are doing as parents is building bridges to the future that will enable you to transition to deeper, more developed relationships as your teen moves into their adult life. Keep working at this day by day. You are doing better than you think
