EFA Renewals & Applications Now Open!
The Education Freedom Account (EFA) renewal and application process for the 2026–2027 school year opened March 9 and runs through June 1, 2026. We strongly encourage families to complete this as soon as possible to ensure there are no interruptions to next year’s funding.
Renewals (Current EFA Students)
Families with students already approved for EFA must complete a renewal survey in ClassWallet to continue receiving funding next year. Families will see a pop-up in ClassWallet that says “Action Required: Pending Survey.” You may choose “Complete Now” or “Remind Me Later,” but the reminder will continue appearing each time you log in until the survey is completed.
Please note:
A separate survey is required for each student account if you have multiple students in EFA.
You will be asked to confirm next year’s grade level and school.
All questions must be completed before submitting the survey.
New EFA Applicants
Students who are new to the EFA program must complete an application through FACTS, also beginning March 9.If you need assistance with the renewal or application process, please contact Mrs. Hernandez or Mrs. Kesterson in the front office.
Summer Schedule Coming This Week!
Parents, we are happy to announce that we will again offer some summer camps at Legacy Academy this year. We hope your students will participate in as many as they can to stay involved and connected. We love seeing students on campus during the summer for service hours, camps, and ball practice. If you want to volunteer for some camps, please let the office know of your skills, interests, and availability. We aim to have a Summer Schedule out next week!
Attendance
A reminder that students are considered tardy if they are not in class by 8:00 a.m. Individual attendance records were included with the report cards sent home Friday, so this is a good time to review your student’s current record. Tardies can be disruptive not only for the individual student but for the class as a whole. Consistent attendance and arriving on time are important parts of student success, and we want to partner with you to help each student thrive.

Highlights of the Past Week
Legacy Academy has had a great start to the 2026 track season.
On Tuesday, our junior teams traveled to Caddo Hills. We had two notable placements in that meet: Hannah Grace Lofton came in 4th in the 1600m, and Zury Real placed 10th in discus.
On Thursday, our senior teams traveled back to Caddo Hills, where we had an impressive showing with many athletes placing in the top 10. Those athletes included Liam Denison, who placed 10th in long jump, 9th in the 110 hurdles, and 8th in the 200m dash. James Bartek came in 8th in shot put and 8th in the 110 hurdles. Silas Lofton placed 3rd in the 1600m, and Chris Real came in 6th in the 3200m.
For our Lady Warriors, Izzy Ward placed 9th in shot put, 6th in the 100m hurdles, and 9th in the 1600m. Myleigh Fry threw 9th in discus and placed 7th in the 100m hurdles. Vivian Garner placed 9th in the 100m hurdles and 8th in the 100m dash. Olivia Lofton finished 7th in the 1600m.
Our boys relay team also had notably smooth handoffs. Coach Garner shared how excited he is about the potential of the girls and boys' senior relay teams this season.
Next, we travel to Conway on March 14 for a full day of both junior and senior competitions. We’re looking forward to another great meet.
Legacy Wellness Challenge
Our Health Challenge is taking off! Lower level students in K–2 were challenged to walk or run 1 mile on the cross-country trail, while students in grades 3–6 completed 2 miles. We are so proud of them—every class completed the challenge together and did a fantastic job! In the upper level, students were challenged to row for 4 minutes and record their personal meter totals, giving them an opportunity to push themselves and see their own progress. Upper level students also received journals this week to encourage reflection and intentional goal-setting through prayer journaling, gratitude, tracking nutrition, and other healthy habits.
Weekly Wellness Tips
Did you know? Children are more likely to build healthy habits when they see those habits modeled at home. One simple way to support this week’s Health Challenge is to choose one healthy practice to do together as a family, such as taking a walk, drinking more water, keeping a gratitude list, or setting aside a few minutes for prayer and reflection.
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!
Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.

Re-Enrollment for 2026–2027 is now open!
We are already prayerfully planning for the 2026–2027 school year and would love to know your family’s intentions. If you anticipate your student returning to Legacy Academy, please take a moment to complete the Re-Enrollment Application by March 6th. Your response helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and resources. We are grateful for your continued partnership!
Make it a WIN-WIN: If a new family enrolls new students and lists you as the referral reason they are applying, then you will receive a $250 credit in the Warrior Shop for the next school year!
We are Hiring!
For NEXT YEAR: We are looking to add teachers in the Upper Level and Lower Level. We
are also hiring an additional para-professional to tutor in the Empowerment Lab.
