A Note to Our Legacy Families
With basketball games, school events, and activities all happening at once, we realize that our calendar has created an especially busy week at Legacy Academy.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and continued support as we navigate such a full schedule. We recognize the demands this places on our students, families, and staff, and we are already working to be more intentional with future scheduling to minimize overlapping events.
Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and supporting our Warriors through it all. We are grateful for our Legacy family and all you do to make these opportunities possible!

FREE Admission Tonight for Fans in Warrior Gear!
It's a great day to be a Warrior! Today, our students and staff showed off their school spirit for Warrior Gear Day as we geared up for our first home basketball game of the season!
Now it's time to bring that Warrior pride to the court! We invite all our Legacy families and fans to come out tonight, cheer on our teams, and help us pack the stands!
Fans wearing Warrior gear will receive FREE admission tonight! So grab your navy and white, bring your loudest cheers, and come support our Warriors as we kick off our home basketball season!

Oratory & Student Showcase | November 12
Join us on Thursday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium for our Oratory & Student Showcase!
The evening begins in the auditorium, where students will recite works of literature and original writing, practicing the classical art of speaking well before an audience. Afterward, everyone will move to the main school building to view class projects from this fall.
Attendance is mandatory for all students, and students must wear their formal uniform. All practices will take place during the school day.
First Pee Wee Home Game! | November 14
Our Pee Wee Warriors kick off their season at home against Garrett Memorial on Saturday, November 14! Let’s fill the stands and give our youngest Warriors a big home-court welcome! Bring the family, wear your Warrior gear, and help us cheer them on!
Fortis is covering the concession stand. If you’re able to volunteer for a shift, please contact Mrs. Kesterson. Thank you for supporting our Warriors!
54th Annual King Arts & Crafts | November 14
Bring the family out for art, crafts, vendors, delicious food, and live music at the Historic King School House! Be sure to look for our Legacy students’ artwork on display as you enjoy this community tradition.

Thanksgiving Celebration | November 20
Join us Friday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m. as we celebrate Thanksgiving together as a school family! All parents and siblings are invited to enjoy lunch together. The daycare will close at 11:00 a.m. to join the festivities.
We ask that all families complete the Thanksgiving Celebration Sign-Up by Friday, November 13. This will help us plan for attendance, food, and supplies to ensure we have plenty for everyone!
We also welcome volunteers to help with food, supplies, setup, or cleanup. Whether you're attending, volunteering, or both, please be sure to complete the sign-up by November 13!

Lower Level Steps Back in Time at Civil War Days!
History came to life today as Mrs. Garner’s, Mrs. Almazan’s, and Mrs. Fermo’s classes visited Historic Washington State Park for Civil War School Days!
Students stepped back into the 1860s to explore what life was like in southwest Arkansas during the Civil War. Through interactive demonstrations and living-history activities, they had the opportunity to learn about military drills, cannon fire, battlefield medicine, and the challenges faced by communities during this important period in American history.
What a wonderful opportunity for our Warriors to experience history beyond the pages of a textbook! We love seeing learning come to life through experiences like these.
