Countdown to the Best School Year Ever!!!

We are now less than a month away from the best school year we've ever had! Teachers attended a staff orientation for the new year last Thursday and it was a powerful moment together, looking at the faithfulness of God to the school from the beginning and how we ensure we continue to partner with the Lord in order to provide our students and their families the best in Christian education. It is an exciting time! We had a great day together and are now full steam ahead toward the new year.

Upper-Level Athletic Meeting, Monday, 8/7, 6 pm

All Upper-Level (Logic & Rhetoric level students 7-12 grades) are asked to attend a meeting regarding athletics on Monday, August 7th, at 6 pm in the LA Auditorium. The meeting will include an update on the possible addition of new athletic programs and the operation of athletics for the coming school year. It is critical that all students entering 7-12 and at least one parent/guardian attend.

Oh Me, Oh My, Oh Nehemiah Theater Camp, 8/14-18

Mrs. Nix will lead a theater camp for LA students the week of August 14th, which will culminate in a show on Friday the 18th at 3:30 pm!

ENROLLING:

While some grades will now require a waiting list, for most grades it is not too late to enroll! Spread the word and help the families you know to give their students the best in Christian education. Between the new LEARNS Act and other scholarships, there is lots of help for families.

ENROLLING DAYCARE NOW!

The new daycare, Bright Beginnings, is now enrolling for our August 28th opening. Spots are first come first serve but priority is given to families with students enrolled in K-12. Don't miss your spot because it is filling up quickly!

NEW YEAR PAPERWORK, TUITION & CURRICULUM FEE

Note that all curriculum fees are due August 15th. All families must have completed enrollment paperwork on file with the office before your student can begin on the first day of school. Please cooperate with the office to complete any outstanding paperwork needed from you!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

We have a short list of things to be done this month before school opens. Can you donate just a few hours to pitch in? Call the office and arrange a time and get an assignment that you can help with--changing out bulbs or air filters, washing windows, organizing library books, assembling furniture, buffing floors, setting up the kitchen, and helping teachers set up classrooms. These are among many tasks that a few extra hands would help tremendously with.
