2019 Summer Reading Program

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller

We understand the importance of reading as a lifelong habit and its impact on students for life. Nothing is more important in all other academic success than reading. Reading is the key to all other subjects. It’s important to inspire and require students to read! We teach students how to learn in the classroom and we encourage them to continue doing so on their own. Students who read 5, 10, 15 books or more from Legacy Academy’s Summer Reading List, will enjoy a special event and other rewards this Fall, based on their summer reading achievement. This event is designed to reward excellence and diligence in students who achieve this goal.
