Week 4 of Virtual Learning Begins

Hello Legacy Academy Family--It's hard to believe that we are now beginning our fourth week of school remotely. We miss our students so badly! Many of you have asked about the remainder of the school year. We are closely monitoring the situation in Arkansas, awaiting for the number of cases to decline and for the Governor to lift the ban on gatherings for more than 10 people. At that point, we will be able to make final decisions about the remainder of the school year and our important end of year events! We are committed to having our End of Year Honors & Awards program, our Water/Field Day, and our first ever graduation. As soon as we can schedule these, we will let you know!

We know that the current structure is not ideal and there are a lot of challenges. However, please know that we are committed to doing everything we can to serve our students during this difficult situation. Please remember how important it is for all Upper Level students to be online in their Zoom classes everyday--for all of their courses. Lower Level students can pick up packets at the school and can get assignments and videos through Google Classroom.

Also, please remember that you can also:

--contact your student's teacher anytime.

--set up tutoring times with your student's teacher.

--contact us for regular tutoring in person or zoom through our new Empowerment Lab.

We will be having a staff meeting this week to work out some additional possibilities for students. Be on the look out for another update.

Also, a link for buying a yearbook will be made available this week. Watch for that, as well!

"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; [3] Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah." - (Psalms 46:1-3)
