This year, campers will learn, rehearse, and perform Fish Tales 2: Good Fish for Resurrection Day, a fun and engaging musical that shares the powerful story of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.
As they prepare for the performance, campers will discover what made Good Friday "good," why the resurrection changes everything, and how Jesus revealed Himself alive to His disciples after rising from the dead.
The week will culminate in a special performance on Friday, July 10, for parents and family members to enjoy as campers share all they have learned throughout the week.
Missed the June 19 registration deadline? Please contact Mrs. Kesterson to see if space is still available and to receive camp materials.
We can't wait to see our young performers bring this meaningful and exciting story to the stage!

Culinary Camp Recap
Culinary Camp was a fantastic week filled with creativity, learning, and delicious food!
Mrs. Talley, Mrs. Himes, and Mrs. Spoo guided students through a variety of culinary experiences as they learned new kitchen skills and techniques. On Day 1, campers created beautiful charcuterie boards and decorated cakes while learning presentation and food styling skills. Day 2 focused on baking homemade bread, preparing compound butters, and mastering elegant napkin-folding techniques. On Day 3, students prepared impressive shrimp stacks, strawberry soup, and Parmesan salad bowls while also learning how to set a proper table and place setting.
Throughout the week, students gained confidence in the kitchen, practiced teamwork, and discovered the artistry that goes into creating memorable meals. We are grateful to our instructors for sharing their time and talents and helping make Culinary Camp such a wonderful experience for our students.
Thank you to everyone who participated in making this week a success!
Legacy Book Club Recap
The Legacy Book Club met this week at Micah 6:8, where members enjoyed a wonderful morning celebrating literature and local authors.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about several local authors, explore their published works, visit with them personally, and have books signed that they purchased during the event. It was a special experience to connect with authors from our own region and hear more about their writing journeys.
Following the author presentations, we continued our discussion and reading of Roverandom, enjoying fellowship and thoughtful conversation together.
Our next Legacy Book Club meeting will be held on July 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Stillwell's in De Queen. We look forward to continuing our reading and welcoming anyone who would like to join us!
