Warriors make Season XC debut

ACORN, ARK – The Legacy Academy Warriors and Lady Warriors cross country teams launched their 2025 season at the Tom Stuthard Stampede hosted by Acorn High School on Tuesday, September 9. The meet proved to be a successful start, with athletes setting numerous personal records and earning three individual medals.

Hannah Grace Lofton medaled for the Junior High Girls team, while Jude Gallagher and Silas Lofton both medaled for the Senior Boys team.

Coach Webb praised the teams’ commitment: “Their hard work and ability to persevere are inspiring—it’s just exciting that the season has begun.”

The athletes’ success reflects the dedication they have shown since early July, when the teams began training with early morning practices.

Legacy Academy’s cross country teams will compete next in Idabel, Oklahoma, on September 20.
