Pee Wee Basketball
Hey Pee Wee Warrior Parents! Let’s get ready for a great season of peewee basketball! Forms will go out in Remind this week and will have all of the pertinent information to get us started, including parent orientation meeting, practice and game schedules, and commitment forms. As always, we are a small school and need all of our kids to play, if they are physically able, so help us get the kids signed up and encouraged to play. Work Hard, Play Hard!
Grandparents Day Lunch
On Monday, September 8th, we invite all Legacy grandparents to campus for our Grandparents’ Day Lunch.
This will be a sweet time for grandparents to sit down with their grandchildren and enjoy lunch together. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria with Lower Level (K-6th grade) at 11:20 a.m. and Upper Level (7-12th grade) at 11:50 a.m.
We can’t wait to celebrate the blessing of grandparents and the important role they play in the lives of our students! If you have not already done so, please RSVP to the front office by 8:30 am on the day of the event by calling (870) 642-8937.

Fun Run Recap!
What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out for our Legacy Academy Fun Run on Saturday. Our XC athletes gave it their all in the virtual NCSAA Championship, and the crowd was full of school spirit, cheering them on! Afterward, families, students, and friends jumped in for the annual Color Run, filling the course with laughter, color, and plenty of silly prize winners.
A special thanks to everyone who purchased taco plates—your support goes directly to our XC teams. We are grateful for our Legacy community and the joy of sharing such a fun evening together!

Regular 4-H meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Legacy Academy cafeteria.
Formal Uniform Day--EVERY MONDAY
Please note: Upper Level students will be required to wear their formal uniforms on Mondays this year. Lower Level students will only need to wear formal uniforms for designated events, such as Scholar Induction.
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!
Scholar Induction Ceremony-- Thursday, Sept 18
Our first formal event of the year, Scholar Induction, will take place on Thursday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m.
All K–12 students are required to attend. Formal uniform required for all K-12.
This special ceremony marks an important milestone in the life of our school. It is designed to induct students into their next stage of learning at Legacy Academy. During the evening, our oldest students are charged with the responsibility of living honorably, upholding the school’s values, and setting an example for younger scholars. Rhetoric-level students will be formally initiated as Legacy Academy Scholars, receive their charge, and be presented with their navy blazers—an enduring symbol of their role as upperclassmen and role models.
Students at every level will also be promoted to their next rank: new Logic-level students (7–9) will become Apprentices, grades 3–6 will be recognized as Protégés, and K–2 students will be named Rookies. Each student will be reminded of their role and commitment within our school community.
Save the Date: Upper Level Boys Canoe Trip--9/21
Sunday afternoon, 9/21, all Upper Level boys are invited to head over to Mountain Fork River for a float trip! Additional details will be sent out this week.
