Practice Schedule & Attendance Reminder
Practice this week will be held on Monday and Friday. Please remember it is the parent’s responsibility to notify Coach Webb or Coach McCleskey if your athlete will miss practice. It is the athlete’s responsibility to make up missed practices on their own. We understand things come up, but consistent communication is key!
XC Meet Details– Sept. 30
Our Warriors will travel to Nashville City Park (1301 W. Johnson St., Nashville, AR) for the meet on Teusday, Sept. 30. Races begin at 3:30 p.m. with JG and continue with rolling starts. We will not stop for dinner afterward, but athletes may pack a snack or meal to eat before leaving the park.

Pee Wee Basketball
Hey Pee Wee Warrior Parents! Let’s get ready for a great season of peewee basketball! Complete your registration forms and pary fees in the front office or online. As always, we are a small school and need all of our kids to play, if they are physically able, so help us get the kids signed up and encouraged to play. Work Hard, Play Hard!
THIS Tuesday--Family Picnic Night!
Mark your calendars! On Tuesday from 6:00–7:30pm, we’re kicking back for an evening of food, fun, and family time at our Family Picnic Night.
What to bring:
Chairs or blankets for lounging
Yard games to share (cornhole, frisbee, etc.)
A simple picnic supper for your crew (sandwiches + chips = perfect!)
What we’ll provide:
Cold water & sweet tea
A few fun organized games
A cool treat to end the night
Bring your people, bring your picnic, and come ready to laugh, play, and make some memories with other families. We can’t wait to see you there!
Warrior Day – October 3, 2025
Get ready for a full day of fun, friendly competition, and school spirit as we celebrate what it means to be a Warrior! Students will enjoy games, challenges, and activities all day long. We need volunteers to help make this day a success—if you’re available, please call the office to sign up. Go Warriors!
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PAST WEEK:
Scholar Induction
Our first formal event of the year, the Scholar Induction Ceremony, was held on Thursday, September 18th, and it was a truly special evening. Families, staff, and students came together in unity to celebrate, encourage, and pray over our scholars as they stepped into the next stage of their learning journey at Legacy Academy.
From our youngest Rookies to our newly initiated Legacy Academy Scholars, each student was honored and reminded of their role in our community. The highlight of the night was watching our Rhetoric-level students receive their charges and navy blazers—symbols of the responsibility and leadership they now carry.
The evening was a beautiful embodiment of what makes Legacy Academy strong: community, partnership, and a shared commitment to shaping students who live honorably and lead by example.
Idabel Track Meet Highlights
Our runners had an amazing day in Idabel! The hills in practice clearly paid off, as Coach McCleskey said, “That’s where our athletes shined!”
Highlights:
Senior Girls: Vivian Garner 12th (18:17), Libbie Bartek 14th (19:40), Izzy Ward & Jocelyn Cisneros fought through to finish strong.
Senior Boys: Jude Gallagher 4th with a lifetime PR 17:57, Silas Lofton 5th (PR 18:25), Manny Toledano PR 22:33 – so close to a medal!
Junior Girls: Hannah Grace Lofton 1st (9:20), Cora Bartek 10th (11:07), KK Bartek 13:08 PR.
Junior Boys: Wyatt Spoo 9th (18:32), Mateo Vazquez 11th (20:11), Cooper McCleskey 14th (22:10).
We are so proud of each athlete for their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship. Thank you to our amazing parents for encouraging them to show up, even on days they might not feel like it – your support makes these moments possible!
