LAUNCH 2025 – What a Start!

We kicked off the school year with our annual LAUNCH event, and it was an unforgettable day! Students competed with passion and energy, with Invicta holding the lead for most of the competition. Fortis and Fidelis fought their way back, ending in a thrilling three-way tie-breaker showdown. In the end, Fidelis claimed the victory—but every House walked away stronger!

Along the way, Veritas earned the title of Best Sportsmanship, and Fortis was awarded bonus points for being the Most Spirited, commended for their consistent encouragement—not only of their own teammates but of every Warrior House.

The purpose of LAUNCH goes far beyond games. It’s about planting the seed of the year in our students’ hearts—setting the tone, building strong relationships between students and teachers, and creating patterns of unity and encouragement that will last all year long. We had a BLAST, and we can’t wait to see the harvest this year will bring!

Fun Run - September 6th, 5pm

Save the Date!

Join us for our Fun Run on Saturday, September 6th at 5:00 PM!

Taco plates will be for sale for $15 each (3 street tacos, rice, beans, drink, and dessert) with all proceeds benefiting our XC teams.

At 5:15 PM, our XC athletes will hit the course for the virtual NCSAA Championship competition—come ready to cheer them on as they give it their all! We’ll record their times and celebrate their effort.

After the race, the course opens up for everyone to join in our annual Color Run! Expect silly prize categories, a “Most School Spirited” award, and much more.

Mark your calendars—it’s going to be a night of running, food, laughter, and school spirit!

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the school office.

Scholar Induction Ceremony-- Thursday, Sept 18

Our first formal event of the year, Scholar Induction, will take place on Thursday, September 19th at 6:00 p.m.

All K–12 students are required to attend.

Formal uniform required for all K-12.

This special ceremony marks an important milestone in the life of our school. It is designed to induct students into their next stage of learning at Legacy Academy. During the evening, our oldest students are charged with the responsibility of living honorably, upholding the school’s values, and setting an example for younger scholars. Rhetoric-level students will be formally initiated as Legacy Academy Scholars, receive their charge, and be presented with their navy blazers—an enduring symbol of their role as upperclassmen and role models.

Students at every level will also be promoted to their next rank: new Logic-level students (7–9) will become Apprentices, grades 3–6 will be recognized as Protégés, and K–2 students will be named Rookies. Each student will be reminded of their role and commitment within our school community.
