HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PAST WEEK:
Scrapper Invitational
Legacy Academy’s cross country team competed at the Scrapper Invitational in Nashville, AR, marking their third appearance since the program began. Despite facing schools much larger in size, the Warriors showed grit and determination on a challenging course. Siblings Hannah Grace and Silas Lofton turned in standout performances for the junior and senior teams. Coach Webb praised the team’s resilience, saying the course “tests athletes mentally as well as physically.” The Warriors race next at the Tri-County Invitational – Emmett Barnett Memorial in Waldron on October 14. Come out and support the team!
Legacy 4-H Meeting Recap – October 1st
Our first 4-H meeting of the year was a success! Students gathered in the Legacy Academy cafeteria right after school for a fun and creative kickoff to the year. We welcomed both returning members and new students interested in joining.
The highlight of the meeting was a hands-on activity where students made bird feeders. They spread peanut butter on pinecones, rolled them in birdseed, and created treats to hang outside for local birds. The kids had a blast getting creative and messy while learning about nature and wildlife.
It was a great start to an exciting 4-H year!
Warrior Day Recap
Warrior Day 2025 brought excitement and fellowship to our campus as students and teachers joined together for a full day of friendly competition and team spirit. Divided into the Navy Team and the White Team, participants gave their best effort in every event—showing enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and unity throughout the day.
After many spirited contests, Team White earned this year’s victory! We celebrate not only their achievement, but the way both teams demonstrated the values we hold dear as a school community.
Guided by “I am Fortress,” Warrior Day reminded us that true strength is found in standing firm together—in faith, in courage, and in Christ. It was a day filled with joy, encouragement, and the unmistakable sense of God’s presence among our students and staff.
Caught in the Act... of Kindness!
Kindness is contagious—and we’ve got the proof! Check out who’s been ‘caught in the act of kindness’ this week, spreading good vibes all around our school!
~ Love one another, as I have loved you.
