Founder's Note
I Thessalonians 5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” The Bible says giving thanks in EVERYTHING is the will of God for our lives. This is a powerful statement when you sit and think about it for a while. In EVERYTHING--all that happens, good/bad, success/failure, joy/mourning, rejoicing/sorrow, prosperity/lack. In everything, it isn't just recommended, it is the will of God. God's design, preference, plan, and architecture for our specific, individual lives to be grateful for everything and to express it. Thanksgiving holidays are not only perfect for spending time with family, enjoying each other, and delicious food, but it is also a great time for reminding ourselves and our children how important gratitude is to the Lord. He truly expects it from His people.
God's faithfulness has led us these 18 years at Legacy Academy, and amongst the many things we think of in giving thanks, you and your families are at the top of the list! Happy Thanksgiving, Warriors!

Annual Legacy Thanksgiving Celebration
What a wonderful day! Our annual Thanksgiving Celebration on Friday, November 21st was a beautiful reminder of how special our Legacy community truly is. Students, staff, and families came together to share gratitude, enjoy fellowship, and celebrate one of our favorite school traditions.
We give thanks to God for every one of you who came out to support our Annual Legacy Academy Thanksgiving Feast. Your presence was a blessing, and your kindness reflected Christ’s love in such a meaningful way. A special thank-you to our faithful volunteers—your servant hearts and willingness to give of your time and talents helped make this event a true success.

King Art Show 2025!
Legacy Academy Kindergarten, 3rd-grade, and 4th-grade students were honored to have their artwork featured in the recent King Art Show at the Historic King Schoolhouse in Gillham. The display showcased a variety of artwork, including sketches, watercolor pieces, acrylic sailboat paintings, and bird illustrations inspired by their Zoology studies. The students enjoyed being part of this longstanding community event and appreciated the opportunity to share their work publicly. Legacy Academy is proud of our students’ dedication and the enthusiasm they bring to their artistic studies.
Caught in the Act... Of Kindness!
Kindness is contagious—and we’ve got the proof! Check out who’s been ‘caught in the act of kindness’ this week, spreading good vibes all around our school!

Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings!
Our Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings are a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the bright future He has planned for our school community. Each child reflects the wonder of His creation and the promise of what is yet to come. We are grateful to walk alongside them as they begin their journey of learning, growing, and living out God’s purpose.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
