JB/SG/SB @ Home Vs. Trinity Christian
This game was initially marked on the schedule as an away game but it will be at HOME. The junior boys will get their first game of the season and will begin at 5pm. Senior girls and senior boys will follow.
Tuesday, November 18th--FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT: FREE ADMISSION!
SG/SB vs. Haworth (home) starting at 5:30 pm
All Warrior fans will have free admission for these games on Tuesday night!
Both of these games verses Trinity and Haworth will be big games and ones with nearby fans who will likely travel with a crowd. Please come out and support our hard working athletes in these games.
Athletic Booster Support!
HELP US GET SOME MORE BOOSTER SUPPORT!
We are running a 3-week competition to see who can bring in the most booster funds. The winner will receive a family of 4 pass to all remaining home games! For help getting started, email Mr. Smallwood at tim.smallwood@legacymail.org or catch him in the hallway at school. The following flyer will go home with your students on Monday!

The historic 53rd annual King Art Show is this weekend, November 14-15 from
10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. and November 16th from 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. Swing by for a visit and admire the work of Legacy’s very own young artists amongst additional talented creators.

Legacy Thanksgiving Celebration | Nov. 21st
Mark your calendars! Our annual Thanksgiving Celebration will be held on Friday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m.This is one of our favorite Legacy traditions—a time for our students, staff, and families to gather and give thanks together.
To make this special event possible, we’ll need everyone’s help!
Volunteers: We need help with set-up, serving food, and clean-up after the meal.
Food & Supplies: Families are asked to sign up to bring entrées, sides, and desserts.
To make cleanup quick and easy, please bring all food items in disposable pans or trays and, if possible, include disposable serving utensils as well.
Please take a moment to fill out our Thanksgiving Celebration Sign-Up Form to let us know how you can help or what you’ll bring! Please Note: ALL paper products have been donated! We are still in need of entrees, sides, desserts... and we can NEVER have too many tamales!

Bright Beginnings will close at 11:00 a.m. on November 21st.
Legacy Academy will dismiss early at 1:00 p.m. following the Thanksgiving Celebration.
Thank you for helping make this celebration one of the highlights of our school year! We’re looking forward to another wonderful Legacy family Thanksgiving together.
Lockesburg Christmas Parade | December 6th
The Lockesburg Christmas Parade is December 6th at 3:00 pm - flyers were sent home concerning the Legacy Academy float, please complete the form and return it by Monday, Nov. 17th! Feel free to also go ahead and send a bag of individually wrapped candy for the float candy throwers. Contact Ms. Shelton for additional information: (870)-642-8937.
Christmas Float preparation and decoration is planned immediately after our Thanksgiving meal on Friday, November 21st. Please plan to join in the fun! More details to come.
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

🎤 Student Showcase & Oratory Highlights
Our students continue to shine through their creativity, confidence, and communication skills! This years' Student Showcase and Oratory Presentations celebrated the incredible talent and hard work of our learners.
From inspiring speeches to engaging performances, each student demonstrated growth in articulation, stage presence, and critical thinking. The showcase was a wonderful reminder of how powerful student voices can be when given the opportunity to express their ideas and passions.
A big congratulations to all participants for their dedication and courage in stepping up to the mic! 🌟Let’s continue to encourage our young orators to use their voices to inspire, lead, and make a difference.
🐟🎣 Special Visitors from Arkansas Game and Fish! 🦆🌳
Our 1st and 2nd graders had an exciting visit from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission! Students learned all about Arkansas wildlife, conservation, and how we can help take care of our state’s natural resources.
They loved seeing the animal displays, hearing fun facts, and asking great questions about nature! 🌿🦉
A big thank you to the Arkansas Game and Fish team for bringing hands-on learning to life for our students! 💚

Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings!
Our Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings are a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the bright future He has planned for our school community. Each child reflects the wonder of His creation and the promise of what is yet to come. We are grateful to walk alongside them as they begin their journey of learning, growing, and living out God’s purpose.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
