Summer Schedule Coming This Week!
Parents, we are happy to announce that we will again offer some summer camps at Legacy Academy this year. We hope your students will participate in as many as they can to stay involved and connected. We love seeing students on campus during the summer for service hours, camps, and ball practice. If you want to volunteer for some camps, please let the office know of your skills, interests, and availability. We aim to have a Summer Schedule out next week!
Attendance
A reminder that students are considered tardy if they are not in class by 8:00 a.m. Individual attendance records were included with the report cards sent home Friday, so this is a good time to review your student’s current record. Tardies can be disruptive not only for the individual student but for the class as a whole. Consistent attendance and arriving on time are important parts of student success, and we want to partner with you to help each student thrive.

Highlights of the Past Week:
Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Visits Campus
On Friday, March 13, students in Ms. Quayson’s and Mrs. Mendoza’s classes had a special opportunity to participate in an engaging archery program presented by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The session was led by Casey Hardaway from the Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Nature Center.
During the presentation, students were introduced to the fundamentals of archery, including proper technique, safety procedures, and responsible equipment use. The program also emphasized important principles of wildlife conservation, outdoor stewardship, and hunter safety—key components of the Commission’s mission to educate and inspire the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts.
Students not only gained valuable knowledge but also had the chance to put their skills into practice. The program was a hit—literally!—and sparked excitement and interest in outdoor education among all who participated.
We are grateful to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Casey Hardaway for bringing this hands-on learning experience to our campus.
Wellness Challenge Update
We’ve had another great week in our Wellness Challenge! A big shoutout to Mrs. Spoo’s class for completing this week’s squat challenge to “Bring Sally Up” — no easy feat! Way to push through and finish strong!
As of now, House Fortis is in the lead Keep up the hard work, everyone — it’s still anyone’s game!
Did You Know?
Just 10–15 minutes of movement a day can make a big difference in your child’s focus, mood, and overall health. Try making it a family habit! A quick walk after dinner, a dance break in the living room, or even a mini workout challenge together can build consistency — get your heart rate up, get up and move together, and make it fun!
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!
Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.
