Calling all young animal lovers! Students entering 3rd–6th grades are invited to join Mrs. Deal for two exciting days of Zoology Camp! Campers will explore the fascinating world of animals as they learn about animal science through fun, engaging, and hands-on activities.

Basketball Camp | July 17
Get ready to hit the court! Students entering 3rd–8th grades are invited to join us for an action-packed day of Basketball! We would love to see everyone attend as we look towards another great year of Warrior Basketball.

Legacy Book Club | July 18
Legacy Book Club will continue reading of JRR Tolkien’s Roverandam on Saturday, July 18 at 11 am in the event room at Stilwell's in DeQueen. Come join us as we continue on Roverandam’s adventures on the moon!
Students are responsible for their own purchases. Contact Mrs. Spoo through remind with any questions.
Curriculum Fees Due August 1
Curriculum fees for the 2026–2027 school year are due by August 1, 2026.
As a reminder, this is a once-a-year fee of $200 for K-12 and $100 for PK. These fees help cover curriculum materials and resources used throughout the school year. We appreciate your timely payment as we prepare for another successful year of learning.You can pay online or in the front office.

We have a lot of work to do on campus as we clean, organize, and prepare for the new school year, which means there are plenty of opportunities for students to complete service hours!
Take advantage of this time to get a head start on your hours while helping us prepare our campus for another great school year!

Zoology Camp | July 20–23
Students entering 7th grade and up are invited to join Mrs. Deal for four days of hands-on exploration and discovery at Upper Level Zoology Camp! Camp will be held July 20–23 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and costs $35 per camper.
Throughout the week, students will explore the world of animal science through exciting field and laboratory activities. Campers will learn how to safely find and handle reptiles and amphibians, set sand and hair traps to survey local mammal populations, pin and preserve arthropods for display, and practice birdwatching as they observe and identify local species.
This camp is a great opportunity for students to get outside, investigate the natural world, and gain hands-on experience with the methods zoologists use to study wildlife!
House Day | July 30
Get ready, Warriors—it’s time for House Day! All Legacy students are invited to join us for a full day of competition, teamwork, school spirit, and fun with our Warrior Houses: Veritas, Fortis, Fidelis, and Invicta!
Parents are welcome to join us as we cheer on our Houses and enjoy a day of friendly competition and fellowship with our Legacy family. There is no cost to attend, so come ready to represent your House, compete, and have fun!

Theater Camp Recap
What an incredible week at Theater Camp! Our campers spent the week learning, rehearsing, worshiping, and preparing to present Fish Tales 2: Good Fish for Resurrection Day.
Each day began with worship and a Bible lesson, giving campers the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word and discover the incredible hope found in the gospel. They learned about the Passover, the Last Supper, Good Friday, and the resurrection, seeing how God’s plan of redemption has been woven throughout history from the very beginning. Our memory verse for the week reminded us that, “He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said!” (Matthew 28:6).
The week concluded with a wonderful performance for family and friends, where our campers joyfully shared not only what they had learned through theater, but also the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We are so proud of every student for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn throughout the week!
A special thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents, and energy to make Theater Camp possible. We are grateful for each person who helped make this such a fun, meaningful, and memorable week for our campers!

If you anticipate your student returning to Legacy Academy, please take a moment to complete the Re-Enrollment Application. Your response helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and resources. We are grateful for your continued partnership!

While the calendar is considered final for planning purposes, please note that minor adjustments may occasionally be necessary throughout the year. Any changes will be communicated through the weekly newsletter and reflected on the school Google Calendar.
