Basketball Details for the Week:
This year, scheduling basketball was rather difficult. Unfortunately, our league doesn't set conference games, leaving all scheduling up to schools individually. It becomes a challenge waiting on schools to get back to you, taking other games in fear of getting none, and then finally hearing back. We try to take what conference games we can to better prepare for the state tournament, but we also have been trying to build relationships with programs nearby to shorten some of our travel.
We have been working to make some adjustments to the schedule, as we don't like the way it has turned out. This week is a full week with three game nights for our teams.
Be sure to check the link to the schedule and note the updates. We have worked to dial back as many weeks as possible to two game weeks. We are still working on some adjustments. As of now, please note that we have canceled the 12/8 Excel game, the 1/12 Mineral game, and the 1/20 CHAAMP game. We will keep you posted on other changes, and you can see these in real time by clicking on the link schedule below.

Athletic Booster Support!
HELP US GET SOME MORE BOOSTER SUPPORT!
We are running a 3-week competition to see who can bring in the most booster funds. The winner will receive a family of 4 pass to all remaining home games! For help getting started, email Mr. Smallwood at tim.smallwood@legacymail.org or catch him in the hallway at school. The following flyer will go home with your students on Monday!

Lockesburg Christmas Parade | December 6th
The Lockesburg Christmas Parade is December 6th at 3:00 pm - flyers were sent home concerning the Legacy Academy float, please complete the form and return it to the office! We are asking each family to send a bag of individually wrapped candy for the float candy throwers. Contact Ms. Shelton for additional information: (870)-642-8937.
Donuts with Dad!
On December 12, 2025 at 7:00 A.M. join us for a warm and uplifting morning as we celebrate the gift of family and fellowship at Donuts with Dads. Bring your dad, grandpa, uncle, or any special father figure and enjoy delicious donuts, meaningful conversation, and time together in community.
Legacy Academy's Annual Christmas Program
On Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 p.m., we invite you to gather with us in celebration of God sending His Son into the world. Our Christmas Program will include carols, readings, and excerpts from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. All family and friends are welcome as we reflect on the hope and joy of Christ’s coming.
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings!
Our Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings are a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the bright future He has planned for our school community. Each child reflects the wonder of His creation and the promise of what is yet to come. We are grateful to walk alongside them as they begin their journey of learning, growing, and living out God’s purpose.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
