The countdown to the new school year is upon us. It is so exciting! This week is Parent Orientation. ALL parents of LA students are asked to attend. It will be a great way to begin the new year together.

Curriculum Fees are now past due. Please pay.

XC Practice This Week

Parent Orientation 6pm, Thursday 8/21

We’re excited to invite all parents to Orientation next week. The meeting will take place August 21 at 6:00 pm in the Legacy Academy auditorium. This important meeting is for parents only—no children this time—and it is very important that all parents attend. You’ll receive all the necessary forms for the year and have a chance to pay fees if you haven’t already. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to get your questions answered and feel fully prepared for the school year ahead. If you unable to attend, please contact the office to make alternative arrangements. 

Students will have their own special time at Open House the following week, where they can meet their teachers, explore their classrooms, and get excited for a fantastic year. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

2025-2026 Curriculum Fees-PAST DUE

It's that time of year again, activity/curriculum fees for the 2025-2026 school year are due August 1st. You can pay ONLINE or in the front office. This is a one-time fee of $200 and are not covered by scholarship funds.

Open House is Almost Here! --8/26, Tuesday

Bring the whole family and join us for Open House next week! This is a special time for students and parents to tour the school, visit classrooms, meet teachers, and drop off school supplies before the first day.

It’s the perfect chance for students to get comfortable in their new space, say hello to friends, and get excited for the year ahead. We can’t wait to welcome you!2025-2026

Mrs. Mendoza Baby Shower

Join us as we celebrate Mary Faith Mendoza and the sweet new life soon to join her family! We’ll gather for an afternoon of joy, laughter, and love at the Webb home on Sunday, August 24 from 2–4 PM. Let's shower Mrs. Mendoza with support as she prepares for this exciting new chapter.

HELP!!! Do you have these things!?

We are excited that we have two international teachers joining us this year on campus. Initially, they will stay on campus and we are working hard to renovate the two classrooms behind the main school building into two nice apartments for them. We need to furnish these rooms. If you have any of the following things that you can donate, please let the office know. We will need two of everything:

Queen Size Bed- or Double bed

Night Stand

Sheets

2 standard pillows

Bedding

Small chest of drawers

Mirror for the bedroom

Blanket or quilt

Small Sofa

Small Desk

Living Room Chair

Floor Lamp or End Table and Lamp

Flatware, pots and pans, baking sheets and pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, Manual can opener, Good knives, Kitchen towels, rags, Coffee Pot, etc.

4 each bath towel, hand towel, washcloth. Check out this Amazon Registry for items still needed!

Fun Run - September 6th

Save the Date!

Join us for our Fun Run on Saturday, September 6th at 5:00 PM!

Taco plates will be for sale for $15 each (3 street tacos, rice, beans, drink, and dessert) with all proceeds benefiting our XC teams.

At 5:15 PM, our XC athletes will hit the course for the virtual NCSAA Championship competition—come ready to cheer them on as they give it their all! We’ll record their times and celebrate their effort.

After the race, the course opens up for everyone to join in our annual Color Run! Expect silly prize categories, a “Most School Spirited” award, and much more.

Mark your calendars—it’s going to be a night of running, food, laughter, and school spirit. More details coming soon!
