It is an exciting week for our team at Legacy Academy! Our team of teachers and staff returns to campus for in-service as we begin our 18th year! Please pray for our teachers and the entire team as we prepare for the upcoming school year. It is going to be our best yet!

Game Days Recap
Game Days was the last—and arguably the best—summer camp at Legacy this year! It was a fantastic break from screen time, packed with all kinds of fun games, from classic card games to energetic rounds of tag, and from two-player challenges to lively party games.
Our campers had a blast competing and making new friends, and each one went home with their very own deck of cards and the legendary Legacy Playbook. Now they’re ready (humbly, of course!) to take on the whole family during game night.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for three days of friendly competition and fun from August 5–7. We can’t wait to see you back next summer!
Legacy Book Club - Last Day!
The Book Club is hitting the road for Texarkana! Mr. Smallwood will be our driver and adventure guide. We’ll meet at the school and depart at 10:00 a.m., returning around 3:00 p.m.
Our stops will include:
The Stained Page – a charming local used bookstore and coffee shop
Lunch out at a local restaurant
Books-A-Million – where we’ll also hold our Book Club meeting
Students should bring money for lunch and any personal purchases at the stores.
Important: EFA & ClassWallet Deadline – August 15
All parents must have ClassWallet set up and Legacy Academy linked as a vendor by August 15.
The 25–26 Education Freedom Account (EFA) application also closes that day—don’t miss out! Over 30,000 Arkansas students have already applied, and funds are limited. Legacy Academy will accept the EFA as 100% tuition, even though actual costs are $10,500.
Already have an EFA? You must reapply for next year using your student’s ID from ClassWallet.

Parent Orientation 6pm, Thursday 8/21
We’re excited to invite all parents to Orientation next week. The meeting will take plae August 21 at 6:00 pm in the Legacy Academy auditorium. This important meeting is for parents only—no children this time—and attendance is mandatory. You’ll receive all the necessary forms for the year and have a chance to pay fees if you haven’t already. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to get your questions answered and feel fully prepared for the school year ahead.
Kids will have their own special time at Open House the following week, where they can meet their teachers, explore their classrooms, and get excited for a fantastic year. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
2025-2026 Curriculum Fees-PAST DUE
It's that time of year again, activity/curriculum fees for the 2025-2026 school year are due August 1st. You can pay ONLINE or in the front office. This is a one-time fee of $200 and are not covered by scholarship funds.
Open House is Almost Here! --8/26, Tuesday
Bring the whole family and join us for Open House next week! This is a special time for students and parents to tour the school, visit classrooms, meet teachers, and drop off school supplies before the first day.
It’s the perfect chance for students to get comfortable in their new space, say hello to friends, and get excited for the year ahead. We can’t wait to welcome you!2025-2026

We are excited that we have two international teachers joining us this year on campus. Initially, they will stay on campus and we are working hard to renovate the two classrooms behind the main school building into two nice apartments for them. We need to furnish these rooms. If you have any of the following things that you can donate, please let the office know. We will need two of everything:
Queen Size Bed- or Double bed
Night Stand
Sheets
2 standard pillows
Bedding
Small chest of drawers
Mirror for the bedroom
Blanket or quilt
Small Sofa
Small Desk
Living Room Chair
Floor Lamp or End Table and Lamp
Flatware, pots and pans, baking sheets and pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, Manual can opener, Good knives, Kitchen towels, rags, Coffee Pot, etc.
