Wellness Challenge Update

We’re excited to share that our current Wellness Challenge leader will be announced at tomorrow’s assembly! Since we were out of school on Friday, we’re taking a little extra time to make sure all points are accurately counted and included. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to celebrate everyone’s hard work and see who’s in the lead

Did You Know?

Kids (and adults!) are more likely to make healthy choices when they help plan and prepare meals. Even simple tasks—like washing fruit, stirring ingredients, or choosing a veggie for dinner—can make a big difference in how excited they are to eat it!

Try This at Home: Let your child be the “Chef of the Night” once a week. Give them a few healthy options to choose from and let them help prepare part of the meal. You might be surprised how much more willing they are to try new foods when they’ve had a hand in making them!

Don’t Miss Your EFA Renewal!

Time is ticking! Make sure to renew your EFA application as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions in your benefits. Renewing early ensures you stay covered and keeps your application on track—don’t wait until the last minute!

Please Note:

  • A separate survey is required for each student account if you have multiple students in EFA.

  • You will be asked to confirm next year’s grade level and school.

  • All questions must be completed before submitting the survey.

New EFA Applicants

Students who are new to the EFA program must complete an application through FACTS. If you need assistance with the renewal or application process, please contact Mrs. Hernandez or Mrs. Kesterson in the front office.

Summer Schedule Coming Soon!

Parents, we are happy to announce that we will again offer some summer camps at Legacy Academy this year. We hope your students will participate in as many as they can to stay involved and connected. We love seeing students on campus during the summer for service hours, camps, and ball practice. If you want to volunteer for some camps, please let the office know of your skills, interests, and availability.

Weekly Assembly

Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.

Re-Enrollment for 2026–2027 is now open!

We are already prayerfully planning for the 2026–2027 school year and would love to know your family’s intentions. If you anticipate your student returning to Legacy Academy, please take a moment to complete the Re-Enrollment Application by March 6th. Your response helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and resources. We are grateful for your continued partnership!

Make it a WIN-WIN: If a new family enrolls new students and lists you as the referral reason they are applying, then you will receive a $250 credit in the Warrior Shop for the next school year!

We are Hiring!

For NEXT YEAR: We are looking to add teachers in the Upper Level and Lower Level. We

are also hiring an additional para-professional to tutor in the Empowerment Lab.
