HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PAST WEEK

Visit to the Choctaw Cultural Center

Our 6th grade class and freshmen recently had the opportunity to take a field trip to the Choctaw Cultural Center in Durant, Oklahoma!

During their visit, students explored the rich history, traditions, and heritage of the Choctaw Nation through interactive exhibits and engaging learning experiences. This trip provided a meaningful way to connect classroom learning with real-world history and culture.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our students to learn beyond the classroom and gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures that shape our world.

Wellness Challenge Update

Fortis is holding strong in the lead this week with an impressive 93.2 points—way to go! The competition is heating up as Invicta (87.5) and Fidelis (87.2) are neck-and-neck, with Veritas close behind at 84.8. Every point counts, and we love seeing the effort and enthusiasm from all our teams. Keep making those healthy choices—it’s making a difference!

Did You Know?

Self-discipline is like a muscle—the more kids practice small, consistent habits (like making their bed, finishing homework, or choosing healthy foods), the stronger their ability to make good choices becomes in every area of life.

Family Tip: Focus on one small habit as a family this week—something simple and doable, like a 5-minute clean-up time, a short prayer together, or putting devices away during meals. Celebrate consistency over perfection!

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

Don’t Miss Your EFA Renewal!

Time is ticking! Make sure to renew your EFA application as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions in your benefits. Renewing early ensures you stay covered and keeps your application on track—don’t wait until the last minute!

Please Note:

  • A separate survey is required for each student account if you have multiple students in EFA.

  • You will be asked to confirm next year’s grade level and school.

  • All questions must be completed before submitting the survey.

New EFA Applicants

Students who are new to the EFA program must complete an application through FACTS. If you need assistance with the renewal or application process, please contact Mrs. Hernandez or Mrs. Kesterson in the front office.

Weekly Assembly

Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.

Re-Enrollment for 2026–2027 is now open!

We are already prayerfully planning for the 2026–2027 school year and would love to know your family’s intentions. If you anticipate your student returning to Legacy Academy, please take a moment to complete the Re-Enrollment Application by March 6th. Your response helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and resources. We are grateful for your continued partnership!

Make it a WIN-WIN: If a new family enrolls new students and lists you as the referral reason they are applying, then you will receive a $250 credit in the Warrior Shop for the next school year!

We are Hiring!

For NEXT YEAR: We are looking to add teachers in the Upper Level and Lower Level. We

are also hiring an additional para-professional to tutor in the Empowerment Lab.

Caught in the Act... Of Kindness!

Kindness is contagious—and we’ve got the proof! Check out who’s been ‘caught in the act of kindness’ this week, spreading good vibes all around our school!
