Catalyst--Thursday, 10/6
Catalyst's next meeting is happening on Thursday, October 6 at 5:30. It is for all freshmen-seniors and up and will be a time of worship, Bible study, and small group discussion. This is a new initiative beginning this year, especially for our oldest students, to focus on their personal development of their faith in Christ. It's a great time for them to study and build together!
Students can stay and change after athletics. Pizza will be available from 5pm.

Fall Break--10/7 & 10/10
Friday, October 7, and Monday, October 10 are Fall Break - no school on either of those days. Enjoy the extended break!
Warrior Day--10/14
Friday 10/14 is Warrior Day! This is an all-day event.
Pay for shirts. Everyone will receive a shirt. You may pay for it at the office or online at this link.
Parents are welcome to attend and Volunteers are needed throughout the day, as well as the night before (setup, mow, clean up, serve lunch, help manage student teams)
Students may paint their faces navy, white, and silver - and use temporary hair color.
They should wear uniform bottoms (pants or shorts are recommended since there will be a lot of physical games and activities) and wear their uniform shirts to school; they will receive their Warrior Day shirt the day before.
Warrior Day will last from 8am-3pm
The day will end with a fun pep rally in the gymnasium at 2:15pm, in which family members are invited to attend

Fisk Benefit--10/14 5pm
After Warrior Day on Friday 14th, we will be holding the Ashlee Fisk Benefit Dinner in the Auditorium at 5pm. Spread the word to all your friends as we come together to support Ms. Fisk. She has been a faithful servant for more than a decade at Legacy Academy, and now is one opportunity for all of us to show our gratitude, appreciation, and support for her as she wins her victory over cancer.

Flu Shots
The Sevier County Health Unit is working with Legacy Academy to offer flu vaccines to students on October 17th. These are free of charge whether or not you have health insurance! Vaccine information and consent forms have been sent home with students and must be returned to the office. REMEMBER, only students with a signed ADH consent form will be receiving the flu vaccine during the time that it is offered at the school.

Picture Day
Mark your calendar for picture day on Wednesday, October 26th. Photos can be ordered at mylifetouch.com. Lifetouch online ordering allows you to customize packages and preview proofs! Visit mylifetouch.com with our school Picture Day ID: EVTDFDN7N to order your pictures online. Online orders can be placed before picture day.
Flyers and order forms were sent home with students this week, which can be used instead. Please send order forms and payment with your student only on picture day (online orders can be placed any time). Additional forms are available in the front office.
Pee Wee Basketball Sign-up
This week, we will send Pee Wee Basketball sign up forms out. Please be on the watch for the form! It can also be completed online here.
Uniform Reminder
Parents, we are continuing to deal with little issues surrounding uniform and dress code. We know that no rule or law is ever perfect, but our heart behind the dress code is to ensure that all students are dressed modestly and to minimize the value that is put upon students' outward appearances: the true value of a person is internal and we know that the Lord Himself looks primarily at the heart of a man in all things (1 Samuel 16:7).
The uniform guidelines can be found in the Student Handbook (pp.20-24). As a reminder, all shorts and skirts should reach at least the back of the knee and not be tight or form-fitting. Thank you for helping your students understand the heart behind this and help them comply.
