Basketball: Tuesday at home, Friday away.

ACT Sign-Up -- Tuesday, November 15


Any students who want to take the December ACT must register by Tuesday, November 15. The next text will take place on December 10.

Lockesburg Parade Meeting, Wednesday 3pm


Legacy Academy has been invited to participate in the annual Lockesburg Christmas Parade on December 3 at 3:00 pm.

This year, grammar-level parents are asked to help build and decorate a float. There will be a meeting regarding the parade for grammar-level parents on Wednesday, 3pm, immediately following dismissal in the cafeteria. Grammar plarents, please attend!

Catalyst--Thursday, evening Freshman-Seniors


Catalyst, our discipleship initiative for our high school students is designed for strengthening their faith and their personal spiritual development. Catalyst will meet Thursday evening. The evening will include a time of worship, as well as bible study questions and some group discussion.


Pizza will be served at 5pm and Catalyst will begin at 5:30 pm.


After Party--Thursday, immediately following Catalyst


An after-party for Freshman-Seniors with fun, games, music, and food will take place immediately after Catalyst, hosted by Mr. Wright and Ms. Gallagher ending at 9 pm.



Thanksgiving Feast 11am Friday with Early Dismissal


The Thanksgiving Feast is on Friday 11/18, starting at 11 am.


Beginning at 10am, Lower level students will be making crafts in their classrooms & Upper Level students will help set up and be free to play outdoor yard games. Parents are asked to bring corn hole, yard darts, volleyball, or any other outdoor games we can set up outside. Please help have these set up before 10am. Parents are welcome to join students play these games before and during lunch time!


We will need help with set up, clean up, and volunteers to bring food. If you have not signed up, here is the form. Please bring your dish in disposable containers to help reduce the workload for our kitchen staff.


This is a day for our Legacy Academy family to enjoy food and community together! All families and siblings are encouraged to join. This will be followed by an early dismissal immediately following lunch.


We still need parents to volunteer to bring meat entrées and sides, like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and veggies. Please sign up to help!! We already have enough desserts! Please complete this form to sign up, or call Mrs. Kesterson if you have questions.


Pee Wee Basketball -- Practices have Begun!

Pee Wee ball is a great opportunity for students to get exercise, learn to work as a member of a team, become coachable, and much more. As a small school, we need everyone who is eligible to play. Please have your student at practice and complete the sign-up sheet if you haven't already. If you missed the sign-up form, it can be found here.


Practice schedules will vary some weeks based on gym use for games and team practices.

Practice Schedule this week:

  • Monday: 430pm-530pm-3/4 girls & boys

  • Thursday: 415-515pm--5/6 boys & girls

  • Sunday, 2pm: 3/4 girls & boys; 3pm: 5/6 girls & boys; 4pm: 1/2 girls & boys

Additional Parent Volunteers ARE still needed.
