Founder's Note:
As the calendar turns to 2024 and we begin the Spring semester, let us all renew our focus on building our lives in a way to serve Christ. Humans were designed to be close to Him, to know Him, to walk with Him, to talk with Him, and to serve Him. Everything else made was Him lavishing gifts upon us. As the new year begins, let us each aim to renew our hearts by putting Him first in all things. Let us remind ourselves that we exist solely for Him. Everything else is a terrible distraction designed to pull us away from Him. Nothing else matches what it is to genuinely know and walk closely with your Creator.
As we enter 2024 we will pray for you and your families and give our hearts to serve God's purposes in your child's heart.

Homecoming -- Friday 5 pm
Legacy Academy cordially invites you to join us for our annual Homecoming Ceremony on Friday, January 5th starting at 5 pm. This occasion holds special significance for our girls as we strive to demonstrate to them the essence of true beauty and its origins. Earlier in the day the girls will have spent a special time together with them and their mothers.
The evening will commence with our Homecoming ceremony in the gym, followed by basketball games featuring our senior girls and senior boys v. the Umpire Wildcats at 6 pm.
We look forward to your presence at this memorable event, celebrating the spirit, talent, and camaraderie of Legacy Academy.
Christmas Program and Service Project
Our Christmas Program celebrated the coming of Jesus into the world, the beginning of God's rescue mission to save humans out of sin and redeem them into His kingdom of light.
Our students told this story through songs, scripture readings, and carols before theater students performed extracts of C. S. Lewis' classic, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".
The evening culminated in us together singing "I Speak Jesus" as a declaration of the power of Jesus' birth, life, and death to bring life to us today, and life in all its fullness.
The following day our entire school community came together for our service project. Upper-level students served our lower-level students by tidying up their playground and making it ready for the new semester, while family members joined other students to make Christmas cards for a local nursing home.
Staffing & Substitutes
Don't forget we need substitutes. Please contact the office if you might be able to sub -- office@legacymail.org.
We are also hoping to hire one additional grammar-level teacher for the remainder of this year. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree.
We are beginning our hiring efforts for next school year, as well. Help us find the perfect teacher match and fill positions!
