XC Attendance Reminder
Please remember it is the parents’ responsibility to notify Coach Webb or Coach McCleskey if your athlete will miss practice. It is the athlete’s responsibility to make up missed practices on their own. We understand things come up, but consistent communication is key!
XC Meet Details – Oct. 14
The Legacy Academy Cross Country team will compete at Waldron High School next week on Tuesday, October 14. Races begin at 3:30 PM, with Junior Girls running first, followed by rolling starts. The team will depart from school at 1:00 PM. Students should bring sunscreen and money for dinner, as the bus will stop on the way home.

The Legacy Academy Cross Country team will compete in Mena at the Lion's Club Disc Golf Course on Tuesday, October 21. Races begin at 3:30 PM, with Senior Girls running first, followed by rolling starts. The team will depart from school at 1:30 PM. Please send sunscreen and money with your student for dinner on the drive home.

Basketball Season Is Here!
We’re excited to kick off another great season of Warrior Basketball! Check out the game schedule and mark your calendars!
As a reminder, we use our House System to organize parent volunteers for gate and concession stand duties at home games. This keeps things running smoothly and ensures everyone gets a chance to be part of the fun!

Flu Shots on Campus - October 14
Reminder that the Arkansas Department of Health will be on campus giving flu shots on Tuesday, October 14. Only students with a signed consent form will receive a flu shot that day.

Picture Day is almost here! Make sure your student comes picture-ready! PLEASE NOTE that formal uniform is required for all Upper Level students on picture day!

Student Council Movie Night!
The student council is pleased invite you to our upcoming Movie Night on Friday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m. We will be featuring the animated film Megamind and offering a variety of fun games and activities throughout the evening.
Light refreshments will be provided, including popcorn, Cuties, and apple juice.
Please note that supervision will not be available until 5:45 p.m., so students should be dropped off no earlier than that time. Admission is $5 per person. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing an enjoyable evening together!
Dress Code Reminder
As we settle into the school year, we’d like to send a friendly reminder about a few parts of our dress code that have come up recently.
Please note that skinny pants, linen pants, jogging pants, sweat pants, yoga pants, denim, knit fabric pants, and athletic or running shorts are not permitted as part of the regular school uniform.
Yoga or workout pants (navy or black) may only be worn under the athletic/PE uniform.
For formal school events, students should wear dress shoes rather than casual or athletic footwear.
We also want to kindly remind families that teachers and staff have the discretion to determine whether a student’s attire meets dress code expectations. These decisions are always made with considerations and in good faith. We truly appreciate your partnership and support in helping us uphold our culture. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Weekly Assembly
Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
On Monday, October 7, our school proudly hosted the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, honoring students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” We are so proud of these students and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make within our school and community.
Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings!
Our Legacy Littles from Bright Beginnings are a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the bright future He has planned for our school community. Each child reflects the wonder of His creation and the promise of what is yet to come. We are grateful to walk alongside them as they begin their journey of learning, growing, and living out God’s purpose.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
