Track Season is Here!

As one season winds down, another begins! We’re already looking ahead to the 2026 track season and are excited to get started.

Practices will tentatively be held on Mondays at Mineral Springs, with Tuesdays and Thursdays on our campus. On campus days, athletes will rotate between throwing and the weight room, while Mondays will focus primarily on running. The first practice will be on February 23rd, 3:00-4:30.

2/24 Carnival of Culture

We are excited to announce that our Carnival of Culture will take place on February 24th from 2:00–3:00 PM! This event is designed to bring together our classical education approach across all grade levels, connecting students through shared learning in history, literature—both real-world and fictional—and cultures from around the globe.

Our aim is to deepen students’ understanding, foster compassion, and broaden their knowledge of both God and the world He has made. Each class will participate in unique ways, exploring a different culture or time period through hands-on activities, history connections, and literature-based learning.

Families are invited to attend! We will begin in the cafeteria at 2:00 PM with a short introduction and directions before students guide you through their cultural stations.

Teachers will send specific instructions or requests related to your student(s) through Remind, so please keep an eye on your messages for class-level details.

Thank you for your support—we look forward to celebrating this enriching school-wide experience together!

3/5-6 Warriors Invited to NCSAA National

Championship Tournament

The Warriors Boys Varsity Team has earned an exciting opportunity to compete at the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) national championship tournament in the 1A division. This event offers a valuable chance for our players, especially our senior James, to grab additional games after several weather-related cancellations this season. The team will travel together, stay on campus in dorms, and enjoy provided meals during the day.

DATES: March 5-7, 2026

LOCATION: Cedarville University (Cedarville, OH)

The event gathers top Christian school teams from across the country to compete in a spirited and respectful environment. The Warriors will compete in the 1A division, facing strong opponents that will test their skills and teamwork.

The team will travel by bus to the tournament location and stay on campus in dormitories. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, while players will be responsible for their own evening meals and should also bring snacks of their choosing.

Summer Schedule Coming Soon!

Parents, we are happy to announce that we will again offer some summer camps at Legacy Academy this year. We hope your students will participate in as many as they can to stay involved and connected. We love seeing students on campus during the summer for service hours, camps, and ball practice. If you want to volunteer for some camps, please let the office know of your skills, interests, and availability. We aim to have a Summer Schedule out by March 15th!

Highlights of the Past Week

Warrior Pep Rally Recap: A Great Day to Be a Warrior!

This past Friday, our school family gathered for an incredible Warrior Pep Rally, and what a blessing it was! The gym was filled with energy, laughter, and an overwhelming sense of unity as students, staff, and athletes came together to celebrate what it means to be a Warrior.

It was more than just a fun event, it was a reminder that we stand stronger together. The cheers, encouragement, and support shown to our teams reflected the heart of our school community.

We are so thankful for the opportunity God gives us to compete, to celebrate one another, and to build lasting memories. Friday was a beautiful picture of unity — students lifting up athletes, friends cheering for friends, and a community rooted in faith and fellowship.

Finishing the Race with Faith: Lady Warriors & Warriors

This past weekend, both our Lady Warriors and Warriors played their final games in the regional tournament. While the outcome was not what we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of the way our teams competed — with strength, integrity, and unwavering heart.

Throughout the entire season, these athletes demonstrated what it truly means to compete with Christ-like character. Their perseverance through challenges, their encouragement of one another, and their commitment to giving their very best each game reflected the words of Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”

Although this chapter has closed, we trust that God is continuing to write a greater story for each of these players. The lessons learned — discipline, teamwork, humility in victory, and grace in defeat — will carry far beyond the court. As 2 Timothy 4:7 reminds us, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Our teams truly finished strong.

We are thankful for the dedication of our coaches, the support of our families, and the prayers of our school community. We cannot wait to see how God will continue to work through our Lady Warriors and Warriors in the seasons ahead.

Once a Warrior, always a Warrior — playing for His glory.

Weekly Assembly

Every Monday at 2:15 pm, we will have our school-wide weekly worship and assembly. Parents are always welcome to attend!

Don't forget that every Thursday at 7:50 am Mr. Gallagher is a guest on KDQN 92.1's morning show, The Morning Brew. This time is dedicated to talking about Legacy Academy and encouraging area parents in raising children with Biblical values. Tune in.

We are Hiring!
