Pee Wee Basketball is HERE!
It's time to get Pee Wee Basketball going. Students ages 7 to 12 years old are encouraged to play Pee Wee basketball. A practice schedule will go out next week. The first order of business is signing up any parents who are willing to help coach! If you'd be willing to help coach basketball email academy@legacymail.org.
ACT Academy--Saturday 10/2 8am-12pm
10/5 ACT offered for Sophomores-Seniors
Because of the pandemic, ACT is allowing Sophomores-Seniors to take the official ACT during the school week at their own school once this fall and once in the spring. Our fall test date is 10/5. Students are encouraged to sleep well the night before, eat a good breakfast, and give the exam their best effort!
Fall Break--10/8-11
There is no school this Friday, October 8th or the following Monday, October 11th for Fall Break. Enjoy the family time!
Warrior Day--Navy/White Night--10/15
Warrior Day is 10/15! Students may paint their faces and hair navy, white, or silver for Warrior Day. It is a fun day of Warrior spirit, games, and competitions. Order your face paint and temporary hair dye now! All students will be put on the Navy or White team and be given a T-shirt. Please pay for your student's t-shirt HERE.
Basketball Season is almost here--first Home Game 10/19 v. Oden.
For basketball to be a success we must have volunteers for the concession stand and gate. A sign up sheet for game workers will soon be sent out. Please sign up! Even if you don't have students playing basketball, come to the games, bring the younger students, join in on the school spirit, and fun times! This year's schedule is HERE.
We need to finish setting up the hospitality suite and gym for the season. If you can help please let the office know. A good group can get all the remaining items done quickly!
Quarter Ends 10/15--report cards go out 10/22.
As we push toward the end of the quarter, please help make sure your students are staying up on their homework and are putting forth good effort in their coursework!
Induction Ceremony is 10/27
ALL students will wear their formal uniforms on this day. This is a special day for the entire student body. Students receive their charge by age group and Rhetoric students are inducted as scholars. Please be sure your student has all he/she needs for the formal uniform for this day. Scholars receiving their blazer should make payment for their blazer immediately HERE.
