Our last XC Meet before the State Finals is next Tuesday (October 17).
Flu Shots -- October 13
The Sevier County Health Unit will be on campus to administer free flu shots on October 13th. Consent forms were sent home with students on Friday. If you would like for your child to receive a flu vaccine, you should have already returned your completed form to the office.
Email Mrs. Kesterson if you have any questions (cynthia.kesterson@legacymail.org).
Warrior Day & Navy-White Night -- October 20
Basketball season is fast approaching and it is time to kick off the season together!
Warrior Day is our spirit day, one of our very favorite days of the year, and the beginning of our basketball season. On this day, the whole school is divided into two teams -- you guessed it, Navy and White! There will be no classes all day, but instead, we will have team games, competitions, and more.
If you would like to volunteer to help throughout the day, email Mrs. Wright (hannah.wright@legacymail.org) or Mrs. Kesterson (cynthia.kesterson@legacymail.org).
Navy-White
Beginning at 6 pm that evening, there will be a scrimmage between current students and the legendary alumni/parents team. Do not miss it!
We are now forming our rosters for the scrimmages on Navy-White night and we need YOU! If you would like to be involved or play, email Coach Webb at hanna.webb@legacymail.org.
Car Rider Line
Parents, the new signage for drop-off and pick-up is installed. Please allow the left lane for exit only, the right lane for pickup, and leave a space for those who are heading to the parking lot in order to park and go inside the building. Also, during drop-off/pick-up times, please come in the west driveway, leaving the east driveway for exit-only traffic.
Thank you for your help and patience!
From This Week:
Family Night
Monday's first-ever Family Night event was a huge success! We are incredibly grateful to all the Legacy families who joined us for an evening of food, games, and wonderful company. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we can't wait to see you again soon!
Student Showcase
Our wonderful students showed off their academic exploits and creations on Thursday evening at the 2023 Student Showcase. Students from every grade – daycare through to 12th grade – displayed classroom work from the whole range of subjects, including history, phonics, literature, art, biology, physics, and geometry. It was an evening to celebrate academic endeavor and the rigor of a Classical Christian education.
We loved seeing all the students' work in our auditorium - parents, siblings, friends, and extended families. From original tongue twisters to replica Greek weaponry, and from Egyptian proto-science to aquatic biome dioramas, we all were granted a glimpse into the daily life of a Legacy student.
