Big News!

It's official! Today, Legacy Academy closed on our purchase of the 34.7 acres former Lockesburg Elementary campus from the De Queen Public School District. Located 12 miles east of our current campus, the new campus is centrally located for students in five surrounding communities. The new campus has beautiful facilities with a commercial kitchen, cafeteria, oversized classrooms, lots of bathrooms, an art room, library, computer lab, science lab, offices, an auditorium, an amazing gymnasium, existing playgrounds and much more. Legacy Academy began twelve years ago with a simple mission to honor the call of God in establishing a faith-centered school with strong academics built on a foundation of Biblical values in Sevier County for Southwest Arkansas families. For the last eleven years, we have been amazed and grateful for God's kindness and continual provision. This new campus marks the beginning of an extraordinary new chapter for our school. With the work before us to get the new campus ready, our first day of school this year will be September 3, 2019, the day after Labor Day. We are now enrolling for Pre-K through 12th grade for the new year and fully expect this to be our best year yet!
